Sometimes you gotta pay to play but mind over matter is what keeps us tough ✊

2 weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be invited to skate at the first ever roller skate demo at the X Games. Unfortunately, my knee had other plans for me.

After multiple ER visits, a ruptured bursa sac, knee drainages, 2 surgeries, 5 nights in the hospital and staph infection in my knee… I’ve never been so happy to be home 💀

Although the situation is less than ideal… I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the level of support I’ve received. I may be butthurt AF to have traded my skates for a walker (😂) but I’m feeling super optimistic about recovery and can’t wait to return a stronger/more healthy version of myself.

Side note: the hospital za was low key fire by @meeshchard
