It’s been 25 years now since I started working in visual effects/animation. I’ve updated my site with some of the recent projects I’m proud of and combined it with my music sets as well! Check it out. meesterjake.com by @meester_jake

DISCO JUICE 🌈🪩🧃 returns Saturday, September 5th for our final summer fling, with music & camp by Meester Jake & Esteban. Throw on your disco chic and dance your heart out, or roll through after one final lake day with the pals and catch up over a cocktail 🍹 while the sun goes down. The soundtrack will handle the rest. 🥰

....The Gay Agenda Presents:
🪩🧃💅 DISCO JUICE 💅🪩🧃
Saturday, Sept 5 @ Skylight
……........1880 Main Street

The warm nights may be numbered, but we are not going quietly. 🫶 So grab your favourite people, rally the group chat, and meet us under the disco ball. 💋

𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧:
🪩 Disco classics all night (the good stuff, the gay stuff, the arms-in-the-air faves)
🕺 Gogos
💋 Horny balconies
🧃 Besties everywhere
💃 And a Technicolour Dance Floor

𝗟𝗘𝗪𝗞𝗦:
Disco lewks encouraged (but you are all that matters): sequins, sparkle, vintage glam. The vibe is celebration, babes.

𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗖 & 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗕𝗬:
Meester Jake and Esteban.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗝𝗨𝗜𝗖𝗘 is giving tea dance energy… but at night... Warm, colourful, social, celebratory, a lil sweaty and a lot more lit that you were planning to get. 🪩 A night lifted right out of your Daddy’s Disco memoir (*flirty* balconies included).

Come dance.
Come kiss your friends.
Come sing
Come celebrate

Still a favourite project I got to do all the visual effects on for song I love by Travie McCoy and Sia. I got to combine all the shots into one seamless-looking take, confetti effects, face replacement, fireworks, and lots of cleanup. Fun Collab! Here’s a little breakdown. Fruit Machine has been my favourite pride party for the last 5 years and this year continues that trend. This was one of the best nights of DJing of my music journey and I’ll remember it forever. What a wild night! Thanks for the fun B2B @e.0rellana and thanks @birdhouseartspace and @platform9.yvr for having me! #vancouverpride #dj by @meester_jake
