Tired of iPad kids? Research from University of Rochester Medical Center shows that 40% of two year olds have their own tablet, that leads to declining literacy, reduced cognitive development, and has a detrimental social and emotional impact. We want to fix that! Beacon encourages your child to play outside, just like your childhood! To give peace of mind to the parent, we present a plethora of tracking features along with simplistic notifications such as “come home” and “dinner”. by @meet.beacon

Thank you so much to everyone who visited us at pitch night, and a special thank you who dropped a vote in our ballot! While we didn’t get to hold a giant check, which Isaac was really excited about, we’re so proud of our classmates that walked the stage. The memories and friendships we’ve made over the past year have been priceless, and we’re so excited to see what’s next!

Signing off for now,
The Beacon team
