It's still surreal!The other day, I was invited to speak at Career Day at Corona Day Secondary School, Lekki, to introduce teenagers to the world of gardening.I wanted them to see that gardening is more than planting seeds. It's science, creativity, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and an opportunity to make a real difference.As we walked back to the hall for the final wrap-up, I overheard one student say to another, "That class was fun and exciting."I smiled.In that moment, I knew the mission had been accomplished.If even one young person walked away seeing gardening differently, then every minute was worth it.Here's to planting seeds...not just in the soil, but in hearts, minds, and dreams. #careerday #speakermoments #loishealinggarden by @meet_lla

1st time ever.Today, I sat down and thought about it. The first time I taught what I knew about gardening was when my darling friend @halimahpfolorunso of @prayingparentsinitiative asked me to come speak to her community of parents.I gladly agreed because I truly love teaching. And then there was the date; 22nd of February. A day where something in me died...and that day 22nd February 2025, something in me was set ablaze.From that time till now, I have shared what I know about gardening, herbs and plants(which keeps growing and growing) with different groups of people.This picture right here will forever be precious to me because it's a reminder of how it all started, it's a testament to consistency and shining your light wherever you find yourself. Also,there's something about the 1st time ever.There's something about going down a new path, not knowing where that road might lead... Just trusting the One who is beckoning you to come...🤍So today, I ask you, what is that path you feel called to walk? What's going to be that 1st time ever for you? The backyard transformation 🔥🔥💯This space used to be… a lot 😅Cluttered. Overlooked. I didn’t overhaul my diet.I didn’t detox.I didn’t chase a trend.I just ate a handful of spinachbefore my first meal each day.By day seven, my body felt steadier.Calmer digestion.Even energy.Natural fullness.Sometimes nourishment doesn’t shout.It whispers — and waits for consistency.7–8 tiny leaves.Every day. 🌱P.S : I take the raw spinach alone some days, some days with a bit of sesame seeds.
