POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This time last week, I was in New York with @goldmansachs for orientation — my schedule was packed with classes, networking, and receptions. They made sure we were well taken care of, and it was awesome catching up with everyone as we kick off this journey together.

Now, we’re starting the 10-week program with @nyustern, and I’m excited to dive in, grow as a business owner, and take @thedigitaljane to the next level! #ombwblackinbiz #blackinbusiness #goldmansachs #1millionblackwomen taken in New York, New York by @meetalicefoy

Have you ever felt like you overstayed in a season but still didn't have the courage to move? Remind me to tell y'all about how God plucked me from my hiding place.

I've been indecisive about moving for about two years, but I now realize the heartache I feel isn't just about the move itself; leaving also was a release of some of my old dreams. 😪

I fearlessly moved to LA in 2016 with nothing but two suitcases because I wanted to produce all of the BIG events, and once in proximity to them, I realized I didn't want to do any of the entertainment sh*t. 😂 I did some social impact events, festivals, and brand activations that allowed me to stay true to myself. Starting @thedigitaljane in 2018 meant I could work from anywhere in the world, but I still couldn't imagine moving or where I'd go.

I LOVED this little loft for 3 years, and I will miss waking up with the sun, firework shows whenever the Dodgers won, and the LAPD helicopters circling for hours looking for people at random. 😆

I’m grieving what was and not sure about what’s next, and as a person who always has to have a plan, that is also really hard for me. I'm trying to tap back into the fearlessness I had back then. Cause how do we get comfortable and lose that?

I'm open and welcoming to whatever God has for me.

Until later, LA, thank you for being a birthing place of so many new things and opportunities to evolve as a woman. by @meetalicefoy

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way saying building your personal brand and a social platform isn't important and valuable --- I just think too much emphasis is placed on creating a brand and not enough on the actual work.

I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of amazing movers and shakers during my career, and I learned early on that majority of them didn't post every move, purchase, celebrity interaction and etc --- but are well known and respected based on relationships and doing excellent work.

I decided that I wanted to take that approach to building a name for myself.

Your name is your brand.
The caliber of your work is your brand.
The way you SERVE is your brand.

Keep doing the work! 💕 by @meetalicefoy

I miss producing events! 🥹

I spent years in event production before taking those skills into a new chapter with @thedigitaljane. And since 2025, I’ve been building something else: @OpsReadyPro!

After two successful cohorts, I’m reimagining the program and exploring what it could look like with the right funding and partnerships. I’m a 2026 BMO Fellow, powered by Watson Institute! As part of the fellowship, I’ll be hosting a “basecamp” in Chicago. Join me for my first in-person OpsReadyPro Live Lab!

I’ll be teaching the basics of my system-building framework and bringing emerging operations professionals together to build a system for a real nonprofit.

If you’re an admin, coordinator, project manager, or someone curious about growing a career in operations, come spend the afternoon with us!

📅 Saturday, November 7 | 11 AM–3 PM
📍 Chicago (Bronzeville area)

Registration is free, and lunch is included!

Can’t make it, or know someone who might be interested? DM me, and I’ll send you the details.

And if you’d like to support the event, there’s also a Pay-It-Forward ticket where you choose your contribution amount. Your support will help cover the costs of bringing this experience to the community! 💛

THE *INTEREST* LIST IS OPEN!!! 🥹💗

Okay Chicago, we’re officially getting this thing moving.

After sharing the @OpsReadyPro Live Lab last week, I’m opening the interest list for the folks who want to be in the room.

This is a small, hands-on half-day workshop for emerging operations professionals where we’ll:

✨ Learn the @OpsReadyPro mini framework
✨ Connect with other people doing this work
✨ Build a real system for a Chicago nonprofit

And because we’re keeping this intentionally small, spots will be limited. I want to make sure we have the right people in the room who are genuinely interested in growing, building, and getting better at this work.

The interest form will ask you why you’re interested, your experience with system building, and what kind of support would be valuable to you during the workshop.

LINK IN BIO → EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST

And I’m looking for a couple of Chicago partners, too:

🌱 A nonprofit partner willing to let our participants build a real system that supports your organization. There will be a short intake process.

🤝 Event partners who can help us bring the gathering together, including space, catering, and other event needs.

This will be my first event back in Chicago, and there’s something special about doing the first EVER in-person here.

More deets soon. 💗 taken in Chicago by @meetalicefoy

Yesterday I attended the opening day of the “If Emmett Till Lived: Freedom on American Ground” exhibit at MOPCO at Columbia College, and it was such a beautifully, beautifully well-done exhibit.

Just looking at the storyline and all of the different possibilities of what Emmett could have gotten to see, do, and experience, brought tears to my eyes multiple times. But there was also a lot of joy in it.

I also really loved that they included Reverend Wheeler Parker, Emmett’s cousin, throughout the exhibit.

What I appreciated most is that it offers a different way of thinking about Emmett Till’s story. I’ve only ever really seen the images of his mother crying at his funeral and his body in the casket. Those images are such an important part of our history, but this exhibit doesn’t only leave us with the tragedy.

It highlights the positive. The potential. The possibilities.

The possibility of the life he could have lived. The things he could have gotten to see, do, and experience.

And I think there’s something really powerful about being invited to think about Emmett in that way.

Not to forget what happened to him, but to also think about the possibilities of who he could have become.

If you have a chance, pop by and see it.. #southloop #chicago #emmetttill by @meetalicefoy

Excited to share that I've been selected for the 2026 BMO Fellowship, powered by Watson Institute!

I'm now in week 3 of the program, joining a network of small business owners and entrepreneurs building solutions to advance economic resilience, expanding access to opportunity, and strengthening local economies across BMO's national footprint.

I’m especially excited that this experience includes the opportunity to host a basecamp here in Chicago!

Through @OpsReadyPro, my goal is to build a bridge between people who want to upskill, gain experience, and increase their earning potential while simultaneously supporting nonprofit organizations that need stronger systems to build capacity.

This fellowship is giving me the space to test, strengthen, and continue developing that model. More on the events soon!

Since its launch, the BMO Fellowship has supported 37 Fellows who’ve collectively raised $11.9M in capital, created 103 jobs, and positively impacted more than 1,500 people. I’m honored to carry that legacy forward as part of the next cohort! taken in Chicago by @meetalicefoy

My FAV!! 💗😩🏆

Miss Jill Scott is in Chicago and she ain’t playing!! What an experience it was. No phones are allowed, so you’re fully present. I could tell she had so much FUN creating this album. And somehow, she made a theater full of people feel so intimate. The live band. The visuals. And the vocals?! BABY!! Her mic is (always) ON!!

Let’s go again on Sunday? Yes? by @meetalicefoy
