From high school band to the Grammys, Cat Sornmayura has a full circle moment involving a music educator who changed her life: this year's GRAMMY Music Educator Award winner, Jennifer Jimenez.

Despite only having her as a teacher for two years, Jennifer Jimenez's influence, guidance, and dedication to her students are what pushed Cat to pursue a music career.

They say third time’s a charm 🌟 …and I might just believe that!

🏆 GRAMMY Sunday was full of some of my backstage favorites with #SabrinaCarpenter, #Doechii, #SierraFerrell, #JohnLegend, my girl #Beyonce, and even my favorite duo #JacobCollier and #ToriKelly came by!

Also 🔎 spotted @chriscrocemusic and @jillrathburncoaching on the TV?! Haha

Loved getting to work and hang out with our @recordingacademy family throughout the day too! ✨ taken in Los Angeles, California by @meetcatleya

🇹🇭 the wedding in thailand | ceremony 🇹🇭

FINALLY!! The pics are IN! So happy to share our second celebration that took place last year in Bangkok in February featuring the Thai side of my family, the Croces, and TWENTY friends from America, Hong Kong and New Zealand!! To say this was a once in a lifetime experience is an understatement. Here are some deets on the ceremony:

👰🏻‍♀️ We held a condensed ceremony, featuring the silver door/gold door tradition where the groom has to pass through several “doors” (the vines) and complete wild tasks prompted at each door (by friends and fam) in order to get to his bride and pick her up for the ceremony (final task is the gold door). And yes, he did sing a song in Thai!
🕯️ We followed a few Buddhist traditions, and had my grandma unite us with those special white halos!
💧Each guest then visited us and poured holy water on our hands and provide blessings, one of my favorite parts 🤗
⬅️ Swipe left to see the whole Let’s Thai the Knot crew!#

O-fish-ally the Cruisin’ Croces! ☀️
Set sail last week and had a blast! I fear we may be cruise people?!

Our favs:
☀️ Themed nights? Say less - swipe for pajama party matching sets
☀️ @michaeljackson songs appeared so many times on this cruise - trivia, movies, karaoke… but why though (it’s ok, we loved it)
☀️ Ok, proud of us for knowing some of the 90s deep cut trivia
☀️ Chris in the pool shower made me giggle
☀️ 7 shades darker from that Bimini sun 💀

Until next time, @virginvoyages! by @meetcatleya

Ok there’s more! Here’s the rest of the week - and I’m not even sure where to start!! Let’s go by people spotted + places Cat consumed food.

✨ Clive Davis Pre-GRAMMY Gala - the most “you-had-to-be-there” event I’ve ever attended. Did I pretend I was Ariana? Maybe, just for a night. Did I get get to see #JLo, #AliciaKeys, #BensonBoone, #MGK, #Doechii, #TeddySwims, #GracieAbrams…and oh gosh I can’t even list them all?! Maybe. You’ll never know! 🤪

💨 Made a little pit stop at the Nominee Celebration earlier in the day, one of my favorite events at GRAMMY Week where all the nominees get their medallions!

✨ Okok backing up one more day - @musicares Persons of the Year Gala was absolutely amazing. Even got to snag a photo of my human @chriscrocemusic who was working the event that night! Swipe to see me freaking out that #LaineyWilson and #AndyCohen were behind me 👀 Did #NoahKahan, #NorahJones, and #SierraFerrell perform?! Maybe. Did we get to interview #MickFleetwood, #MarenMorris and #GraceBowers? Maybe. Also peep me eating a rainbow grilled cheese in a gown - long days y’all!

✨ And of course we had a blast producing the Crypto.com Arena Behind the Scenes Production Tour with our amazing @grammyu Reps!

✨ Throwing it back to the Nashville Nominee Celebration prior to GRAMMY Week, super enjoyed chatting with Reps and seeing all the Nashville nominees with @jillrathburncoaching!

Thank you to @jessiemarieallen and @grammyu for paving the way for this little lady! by @meetcatleya
