October ends on such an amazing note. I read my poem, ‘Colour Grading’ at @creative_convos yesterday.

I am grateful to @vitusspeakz for the opportunity to have shared it and to the other amazing creatives, old friends and new for also sharing parts of themselves on stage.

Stage work is usually not my forte but I have such wonderful friends, thank you, all of you.

You all make art, art.

Happy new month, in advance🫶🏿 by @meetwinniefred

Fun fact about little Winnie

When I started walking, I took big steps, almost running all the time. On one of those days, we went to the zoo and I walked/ran down a slope. My parents were concerned but according to them, I never fell.

That’s how I started walking.

I’d say I’ve walked like that ever since but I’ve learnt to do it more purposefully. When it’s looked like I was going to fall, I didn’t, I haven’t. I’m grateful to God for this, I’m grateful for today.

It’s my birthday, a very special one. Happy birthday, not so little Winnie 🖤
