Acceleration has been out ♥️ it's been so surreal 🩵

Misa buckled down to deep dive into the production side, as she made the most of the setback of lacking funds while tackling the music video project for this song. She says, “It took a while for me to get the fundamental concepts to be a producer (baby-producer, ongoing…🎧). The process gets overwhelming as if I’m learning a new instrument. My limited ability might not push the song to its full potential, but I don’t mind - it’s all about the process of learning and discovering new skills along the way, anyways 🧪” Her intention carries into any future creations. “For a long time I didn’t even have a song to try on audio productions. Now I can finally get to do it with songs we managed to forge over the years, with friends I’ve encountered in this journey - people I trust, whose brains I can pick, and who I can grow with💡🧠”

Much like the warmth you feel in your chest while taking a walk on a cold night, this song evokes a similar sensation of spark of hope and grounded sense of self amid the darkness.

How are you doing?

I hope you’re finding time to tune to yourself, to feel grounded, and to value your own rhythm amidst the busy season 🌻🌞

I’ve been forging my own path in a way that suits me personally instead of being tied down to the ideas that come from industry standards - being an independent musician/artist, everyone’s path is so unique and different.

Maybe there are certain right ways to do things (even standards for musicians exist)...

but is it feasible at all for ME?

If it’s too far to make it happen in the first place then, I’ll come up with my own way that works the best with the unique situation I’m placed in my current life, with ordinary locals who are also just busy with their own lives.

This is a creative field… and I want to embrace that.

Setbacks are opportunities for creativity💡

I’ve been working out to get inspired with those setbacks rather than being discouraged 🌬️⛈️

Paving creative paths won’t be accepted by all, but challenging boundaries is what we do as artists anyways 🗡️

💎 Something super rare and exciting is coming soon!! 💎

🌻Stay tuned🌻

🍂 Greetings October 🍂

How was your summer 2026? 🌞
This summer for me was reassuring the slow process of growth in general, and take things one step at a time as they come 🍉🌱🎐

I had an acute realization: while you keep chugging away, when a certain event comes around, it happens whether you're ready or not 🔥💨

Instead of blaming myself for what I lack, I want to thank myself and be proud how far I've grown🌻
And enjoy the ride 🌊 stay present 🌬️ and we'll figure things out 🎼💡

On 10/3, we got a show celebrating the arrival of autumn at @thesnugpdx 🎑🍁
It'll be a free show (yet plz consider tip artists and bartenders 🙏) we'll be pouring our heart and soul for the labor of love in this PDX community 🧡

To dear lonely souls, artists, and creatives out there 💌 🖋️
About pursuing the passion...
It IS a JOY.
BUT it is not just that when the society numbs us down to just follow the written script.

It's more than that.
It is essential.
It is a rebellious act for me b/c I cannot fit myself in the grown-up world pretending that I'm happy.

And I won't be the artist to just share the 'top of the iceberg' as if doing this is all about fun 🎉🪩 nor want to entice your jealousy 🧊

It's more than that.

I'd be the last person who wants to organize a party to bring people on the table.
Having this passion puts me in a dilemma going on the extended social expeditions I am still uncomfortable to this day.
They are humbling experiences and I do enjoy them to the fullest - especially when I finally make things happen, only to then hit the deepest trench with self-doubt and existential questioning 🌀 (so you don't have to get jelly for my smile 😈🤭).

All I want to do is to get creative with like-minded people to shed some light on the deeper side of our human heart - maybe sth we usually ought not to reveal.

Not only moving people in some way,
but more than anything I want to push lonely souls' back not to give up on what makes who they are 🗡️

Creating an echo chamber?
One day I'd turn it into a full orchestra!! 🪉🎺

In my language, music (音楽) mean 'to enjoy sound'.
Lifted by my bandmates @play_it_cool_man, @rivkahroxyoursox and @_arrex for our Meeyan Punch set,
we'll be cultivating the creative environment with @imaritones, @funkysundayparty , and @bae.alchemyband 🔥

Would love to get connecting to you 🌟
Come expose yourself with rage, compassion, and unwavering supporting vibe at @bunksandwiches 🍻

Photography helps me so much for the storytelling when I share the bts how I pursue this music endeavor 📸
Thank you so much for your creative energy 💯 @beezinpdx and @hellostrangerimages at @wyrdhut 🔮

[Christian Metal + City Pop + Black/Doom + Country Gospel]
September 10th at Bunk Bar in Portland, Oregon.
And this is actually the last show -the very last night of our USA tour.

This is not a church show.
This is an event where we get to play alongside local artists from Portland.
This is a show out in the wild, right in the heart of the Portland music scene.

We love playing Christian festivals, but for this show, we want to become a part of the Portland music scene.

We love the Pacific Northwest.
We love these liberal cities.

And maybe that's because we're from Japan.
As Japanese people, we feel strangely at home in this part of America for so many reasons.

We have a different mission from many other Christian bands based in the USA, because we come from a completely different cultural context and background.

Our music is rooted in traditional hard rock and heavy metal from the 1970s and 1980s.
But the true essence of our music also comes from the latest indie noise and experimental sounds born in the underground Japanese music scene.

This is new territory for us to conquer.
And this Japanese band, Imari Tones, is ready to go there.

The lineup is awesome.

We have MeeyanPunch, a wonderful Japanese artist based in Portland.
So it's going to be like a little "Japan Night."

We have BAE, who play a truly unique blend of black metal and doom rock.

And we have our friend Funky Sunday Party, bringing their own mix of Christian rock, country&blues.

And there's us Imari Tones.
Bringing you the pure joy of 80s metal, mixed with all the Japanese goodness.

This is a multinational, multiracial, multicultural event, bringing together different kinds of music.

We want to show you something:
real peace and harmony,
forgiveness and love,
and a true kind of diversity.

The kind of diversity that can only happen when different people, cultures, ideas, and sounds come together in a place like Portland.

And from here, we want to bring that message of peace to the world.

In the name of rock 'n' roll, we can come together as one.
We still believe that music can unite people.

See you soon!
God bless you all! taken in Bunk Bar by @meeyanpunch

Greetings!

I'm honored to be supporting @imaritones from Japan as they wrap up their U.S. tour @bunksandwiches on Sep. 10!

This will be the night where 80s metal, punk, jazz, synth, lo-fi, pop, grunge, doom, folk, country collide all together.

Night will be shared with @imaritones (JPN), @bae.alchemyband , @funkysundayparty (special guest).

You'll be promised to be empowered by uniquely shared energy of feistiness to keep you going forward for the good🥊🕊️

No matter what religion you follow or not, the language you speak, the color of skin, background, or age (sorry minors only 21+!), there should never be boundaries in music.

(Not to mention whatever genre of music you listen 📣)

Big shout out to @dwntwnmattbrown and @david.streit.recording for making local shows possible!

Support our unique scene shines in diversity PDX✨
Support local venue, business, and independent artists 🥪🍻 See you there?
