Hi Guys!

Excited to share that this is my new page to showcase all my building work and current projects that are on going. 👷🏽‍♂️

I’ve been in the trade for just over 6 years now and currently working for a building firm. I’ve also been taking on private work over the past year on the side and I’m finally deciding to showcase it to the world.

I’m a fully qualified Carpenter specialising in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry as well as General Building, from roofing to bathrooms and extensions.

For enquiries drop me a DM or use my Email: meffanconstruction@gmail.com

Any shares to friends and family are massively appreciated!

Thanks 🙏🏼 by @meffan_construction

LVT flooring laid for my building firm a few weeks back.

Client wanted a herringbone pattern with a 100mm border with gold trim.

Beautiful choice of style, colour and materials 😮‍💨

Roof built for my firm, with two Gable ends and another two smaller Gables which sit into the roof to create natural valleys down both sides.

A flat roof detail on the back of the roof to allow for the span across the extension, plus a shallow pitch throughout to keep the roof uniform with the existing.

Lots of cuts and tasty angles 😮‍💨

Office fit out completed by me for my bosses new office last year.

Completed with LVT herringbone floor with a 100mm border plus a black trim.

Both units built bespoke by me using 18mm mdf with beading added on the door under the floating shelves.

Skiting and panelling completed using 9mm mdf and 9mm beading for added character.

Both black finished doors with antique brass door furniture hung by myself too 🤩

Classy finish on the office and a great showcase of what panelling and beading can do for a space 😮‍💨 by @meffan_construction

Bathroom 2nd fix completed for my building firm.

Client wanted the bath surrounded by stone, so I built the frame out of 3x2 timbers and used 11mm ply to solidify it ready for stone to be templated and installed.

Next step was the installation of 450mm wide, 9mm thick panels with a dado rail and 7inch ogee skirting and architrave.

The small cupboard door was adjusted and rehung to suit the existing frame.

Shower screen was a 2 man job due to the pains of glass being 80kg each 😳

Beautiful bathroom with a beautiful finish 😮‍💨🔨 by @meffan_construction

What you can see is studs built ready for a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a small living area leading into the bedroom/bathroom.

Old wardrobes ripped out and opened up to create a space for a double wardrobe to be built in future.
Stud wall added and plasterboarded, to separate the rooms again and make ready for plaster.
