Looking Forward

This has been an unprecedented filled with challenges, struggles, worry and heartache. It has also been filled with growth and the satisfaction at having met every obstacle with a good attitude, new skills and teamwork.

Through it all, there has been no shortage of content and stories shared by people who inspire us. Through it all we stayed as positive as possible, buoyed by these uplifting stories and filled with more resolve as we viewed the less uplifting ones. We wish you a safe, joy-filled Holiday and a New Year that is way better than the year we happily leave behind. Stay positive. Stay busy. Stay safe.

From @EthanVenjohn: "Since 1970, nearly 43 arches have collapsed in Arches NP. A friendly reminder to appreciate all those still standing tall for us to see and photograph."

"A lone white rhino illuminated by the last rays of the day.
.
Rhinoceros factoid: What is the difference between a white rhino and a black rhino? Not the color, they are both gray! White rhinos have flat, wide, and broad mouth with square lips. They are “grazers” since they eat grass from the ground. Black rhinos are “browsers” because they have beak shaped lips that they use to grasp leaves and twigs from trees when eating.
.
📸Photo Tip: Look for the light. Side lighting adds depth and texture to an image. Great lighting will make all the difference in your photographs.
.
🤓Techie Stuff: ISO 400 f/2.8 @ 1/4000th sec. Nikon D810 with a AF Nikkor 400mm, f/2.8." - @rballphoto by @mefototripods

This year, as we celebrate our American Independence Day and dream of "a more perfect union," we are struck not by how far we have come but how far we have yet to go.
.
We are incredibly saddened by those we have recently lost.
.
We are proudly committed to supporting the ongoing stories that are being told by "we, the people" in furtherance of "liberty and justice for all."
.
This may note be the happiest 4th of July on record, but together we will persevere and soon celebrate at we are all "created equal."
