Trust in movement. What a gift. I feel we need some inspiring, empowering, uplifting content this winter. From some place warm 🏝️What do you think? Where we can drift off somewhere special and come back to ourselves. Leave with a smile, a sense of calm, inner peace and strength. Should I set up my camera and bring you some vids? 😄Let me know in the comments or slip into my inbox if you’re interested. And let’s do it. Meg turning up the heat in the stunning Shakti Shala, against a jaw-dropping jungle backdrop. Distractions include monkeys, iguanas, and tropical birds passing by 🐒🦎🦜

Not your typical home studio 🥲

A highlight of the week: our private sunset boat tour on the Pacific ocean, where we spotted dolphins, danced to Madonna, ate fresh ceviche, and soaked it all in. 🐬

One of our sound healing sessions led by Sarah Surrenders in the incredible Oceana Shala, overlooking the ocean at sunset. Is this real life? 💫

Grounding and connecting with Nosara’s untouched and raw jungle trails 🪾epic!

The most breathtaking sunsets you will see in your life 👏 every 👏single 👏 night 🌅

Imagine yourself stretching after a beach day, literally looking out at the ocean from the tree tops, no distractions, in sync with the energy of the jungle around you 😌

Pinch me moment 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♂️

The most authentic Costa Rican excursion into the mountains to a family-run fruit and coffee plantation enjoying a delicious cup of ☕️ straight from the source. You can bet we filled our suitcases!

OMG, the FOOD!! 🫠 The freshest, cleanest, locally-sourced meals you’ll ever taste. Bodhi Tree blew us all away with their daily variety, quality, and care. 🙌🥭🍍

A daily fresh Pipa (coconut) keeps the doctor away. Wait till you taste it 🥥

The fam! 😍 Forever grateful for our first Embodied Reset group. The synergy was palpable. B by @meg_feens

Hard to believe our magical retreat in Nosara ended 3 months ago today 🥹

This moment was captured by @fleurishseattle at our sunset boat excursion, and for obvious reasons, became our default retreat cover photo 😆🍑

It is up there among the best weeks of our lives, and there’s still SO much we want to share about it. The best part is that we get to do it all over again 👀

Small snippets from my portion of my chat with @embodywithsasha about how our Nosara retreat came to be. Have a watch if you’re curious about what led me to this life, perhaps you’ll find some inspiration within it all.

1. How I landed in Nosara on New Year’s Eve 2021, during the thick of the pandemic in Montreal. Winter, masks, 8pm curfew, isolation. I was on mental health leave and struggling. I chose that date because I wanted to start my year intentionally.

2. Three girlfriends had fled Canada for Nosara. A flood in my condo meant I had to vacate for a month. I remember every detail. I googled, instant yes. It was a slow build of over two years of circumstances that allowed me to take the instant leap.

3. That first beach walk. No masks or fear. Just smiles and warmth. Feet in the sand, sun on my skin. Nature, abundance, support. I felt alive and held.

4. My first yoga class at Bodhi Tree, in the Shakti Shala. Front-row altar spot. Breathing and moving together. Birds, monkeys, lush green. One of the most healing experiences of my life.

5. My roadmap? No plan. Just following my heart and leaning into what satisfies my soul.

6. My movement practice cracked wide open thanks to the most inspiring teachers and spaces. Nosara introduced me to a consistency with new modalities and with that, the realization of how important it is to understand and discover the body through different lenses. This felt incredibly freeing and rewarding.

7. The beauty put me in this resting state of AWE (my fave). Immense gratitude for my sight, for the beauty, expansiveness, connection, and community I was experiencing. Unmatched.

8. The importance of stepping away from a normalized life of disconnection, screens, and routine, and returning to nature’s circadian rhythm.

9. How it had to be @bodhitreeyogaresort How do we get more people to experience this magical sanctuary? The Embodied Reset Retreat was born.

10. Maybe you, or someone you know, could use an experience like this right now. It will be the most incredible, rewarding, motivating week. It can be as restorative, active or adventurous as you want, and we’ll support you every step of the way✨link in bio. by @meg_feens
