I made the @daughterjudypatterns #genrablouse using white secondhand cotton fabric in size xxl. I found the directions for the sleeve placket to be confusing - I always struggle with figuring out which side the opening should be on - every button up pattern I have made recently (4) has neglected to include this info. So I have one facing the right way and one facing the wrong way. Annoying! I like the collar and I’d like to make another one that is one size down as it’s quite roomy and I’d like to make one that’s a bit more fitted. It’s already cut out in my sewing studio! I’d like to make a short sleeve version of this as well. by @meg_making

a self drafted boat neck button up top! I used the bodice pattern from my Antoinette shirt pattern that I changed a bit and added front waist pleats. I started this last year and then got annoyed by the neckline being stretched out (always stay stitch your neckline) and then I picked up this year and finished it. It’s not perfect but I can still wear it (although I am annoyed at the neckline fit). I had just enough fabric to make the body and used contrast fabric for the neck line and armhole bindings. by @meg_making

Made myself #roscoeblousehack with a button front out of secondhand navy cotton lawn fabric from arts and scraps. I love sewing these vintage French laundry labels with my initials in my handmade clothes 🩷 I’ve been wearing this nonstop! @truebias by @meg_making

a denim repair job I’m pretty pleased with! There was a small hole in the right front pocket which I reinforced with an iron on patch that I stitched down. I also added large iron on patches inside to reinforce both knees. Tried to make this as invisible as possible! a button up shirt for my love made with a variety of striped fabrics from @artsandscraps ! I used the Negroni button up pattern by Colette and shortened the length of the body and the arms quite a bit. I omitted the loop at the top of the collar. It was quite a bit finicky and next time I may just do one pocket or pockets without the flap. This was intended to be my wearable toile and I think it turned out well! Made in a size medium. by @meg_making

I made this patchwork dress inspired by the dresses by La reunion in 2020! The straps were super wonky and I just fixed them so I thought it would be a good time to document this on the feed. Perfect billowy summer dress by @meg_making

Made a #honeygirlloungeset with striped jersey from arts & scraps! I made size I and I think the stretch percentage is a bit too low because the tank top feels a bit tight and I have made it once before and it fit great with a different fabric! I added 4” to the straps as the only modification by @meg_making

Rose raglan by @paradisepatterns ! I used a cotton striped fabric and buttons that I got from arts and scraps to make this. I made size I view A. I should have stay stitched the neck line which led to some issues for me, but by basting and gathering it a little bit to fit the collar it ended up working out! I also had some trouble with the collar stand top stitching, so it definitely does not look perfect, but I am overall pleased with how it turned out and I definitely wanna be making more of this pattern because wearing a loose cotton button down in the summer is my jam by @meg_making

this project was multiple years in the making! I thrifted two pairs of pants one is Lee and the other one is wrangler and then when I was working my job at the ice cream window a few years ago I seam ripped all of the pants apart, which took forever. Then, I let it sit around for a long time and did not work on it at all. A few months ago, I decided to pick it back up.

I wanted to make the coe trousers pattern, but it was breaking my brain with the fabric piece layout, so I decided I would do the Arthur pants instead. I am happy with how it turned out! I honestly wanna make another pair because I think it’s fun to rework the pants and this one is really loose and baggy and I kinda wanna make one that slightly more fitted. by @meg_making
