#Grief is not only endured through the loss of a loved one, but it can also come in the form of a lost opportunity, broken relationship, or through believing negative thoughts. Through my personal experience, my healing strengthened when I took a step back and surrounded myself with people who had my best interests in mind. Having a strong community can help bring forth healing through the grieving process. No matter how slow or fast it may feel, it is important to recognize your progress. Grief is a very personal experience, so never be ashamed if your journey looks different than others as grief does not consist of a specific time frame. I have learned that grief is simply a form of love. The heavier it feels should remind you of how beautiful your heart is to love that deeply. Never, ever be ashamed to display love. #MegaMentality

My greatest hope has always been that every accomplishment would make me more grateful, never different. If this journey has taught me anything, it’s that the most meaningful accomplishment isn’t a title. It’s the impact you leave on others and the lives you touch along the way. That’s the legacy my grandma lived every day, and the one I strive to carry forward. She made everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved, and I know she would have been here celebrating this moment with me.

Thank you, Laredo, for embracing me and giving me a place I will always hold close to my heart. Thank you, @vernon3, my family, and friends for believing in me from the very beginning and for your endless love, encouragement, and support. It truly takes a village to accomplish something like this, and I will forever cherish mine.
