The side of fame most never see/ know about. When my hit song “They Hating” took off, it was pretty much everywhere I went for years that ppl would ask for pics, autographs and such. (Mainly pics) both of and with me. And lots of “omg I just saw J-Ott$ at so and so” type of tweets seemingly daily. Then they start rumors about you or randomly decide to turn on you. And it feels like the world hates you for something they make up and spread like fire that you didn’t even do. And it can be anything and everything that comes to their mind that they decide to create so their peers won’t like you anymore because they steady jealous of the love you receive.

All the calls from random numbers, between fans and haters randomly getting your phone number, this one somehow getting my home number and knowing my name and my dads name. Then the females that try to set you up, and do ya dirty. From trying to drive your nice cars that they didn’t earn, to trying to have your baby, when you don’t like them like that to have the fame and money they never earned, to ppl egging your house, talking crap behind your back because they below you and don’t get the love you do and ppl coming to your house for pics because you’re an icon and a legend to them.

But at the end of the day, it makes me who I am and shows me you can’t trust much, but there’s still some good souls out there. To all those who throw shade, thanks. You give me tougher skin to push through adversity. To those who show love and truly love my music and I, thank you more. Sometimes I just realize it’s really me vs me out here. The only one responsible for my L’s is the one I see in the mirror. At the same time, the only one that has my back through thick and thin that can pull myself out of things while others ditch me, and show they’d rather be with others, and can’t see my worth, while I know my worth, is me!!! When I was up they all wanted pics, autographs, and my overall aura/ fame.

Now that I took a different route, they disappear. The mask falls off, and I can see more clear who chooses me vs not.

I have goals to reach and dreams to fill.
So I need to stay focused!!! Gods got me!

Man… the moment finally came! Thanks for the VIP treatment to the ppl in charge! Glad I didn’t have to wait in that long a$$ line! 😉😂 My all time favorite offensive baseball player, @chaseutley . Will post more on a different oust at some point with one of our photos together. Take chances in life, stick to your gut feeling, ask questions even if 9/10 are nos, that 10th is a yes!!! And make the extra effort! It paid off for me today. I love when people see my worth and I don’t have to explain who I am or what I do. Just keep the vibes up and treat people with kindness like Chase & I did today! Those who remember this line I added in the video know it was from Chase himself in the 2008 World Series. #worldfingchampions by @megajotts10

I kept contemplating on when to release my next song. (I have quite a few great songs in the tank) just trying to find the right times to release them. I’m starting with one from my most recent studio session. This is “J-Ott$ When God Said (winning) feat. Angel Hill & Masai”.

If you follow Angel on ig you’ll see in his story’s he literally counts his daily wins. And lately it’s really inspired me to keep counting my daily wins and blessings as well. It shows you how you become what you hang around. You hang around the wrong ppl, you’ll be drained, blamed and can’t think straight because they distract you by constantly talking about such pointless stuff. And doing things they shouldn’t be. Making excuses for their failures and such. But never learning when you try to help them. Having a fixed mindset.

But if you follow the right ppl and spend time with people with a great mindset and proper foundation who have learned to be better then they used to be from blessings and lessons, you will likely improve. But you gotta stay open minded and take chances. Do things right. Not giving up halfway through. These people like us 3 on this song, have an opportunist mindset where we see an opportunity that aligns with our future and we hop right on it! Just like how I felt the need to add them 2 on this song without even really knowing who they were for long before we callabed. And they were 100 percent with it! They said they’d take care of me with these features. And they did! That’s the people you need in your life! I sure do. People that follow through the vision and don’t stop till the job is done. And communicate well with you. No arguing over pointless stuff, just figuring out how to get the job done and doing it right! Coming correct. It’s a winners mindset vs a poor mindset. Thankfully us 3 have the winners mindset. We tackle our goals.

Many don’t have the mindset we do to be up there with us. Let’s run it up and keep counting these “dubs dubs dubs” @theangelhill & @hintofgreatness .

I want to give a big shoutout to @andreidaescupkl for always having my back. I feel like whenever I have a question about something to level up my pickleball game, he’s been there to answer. I discovered who he was after watching him beat the top woman’s player in the world, Anna Leigh Waters and her team live in person in NYC last summer. Someone got me in to the championship match for free. Which was a blessing itself. My aura speaks for itself. And has got me in some awesome places around some awesome people. Because I’ve been awesome myself and I do right by others instead of tearing them apart or asking them unnecessary questions like many I know do. I know how to treat people for the most part because I too was famous for years. So I know what I liked and didn’t like from that time. And now treat those admire how I’d want people who admired me to treat me.

Going into this championship set of matches not knowing who he was before I got there, and now having a solid bond with one of the top players in the world is a great feeling. I know I have potential as well. And getting tips from Andre helps me see I can be a top tier player as well if I stay focused and play / drill with players at my level or above consistently. And not allow doubt into my mind. But rather to push for further success with the right group of people around me. F the naysayers! Those who have succeeded at high levels in what you are striving for will uplift you if anything. Those who haven’t succeeded at a high level in what you do it’s hit or miss. But you’ll likely get some jealousy in the mix which I’ve seen myself. You just gotta keep going! Just like Andre here at 37 years young! Out there still at the top of his game. A solid 6.8 dupr for him, with a career high of 7.1 which is what top player in the world Ben Johns currently has. S/o @benjohns_pb on that. Hoping to get a pic with Ben like this this year hopefully 🙏. And maybe another free entry from someone again 😂🤷‍♂️. While I’m at 4.0 dupr and my career high is a 4.3 dupr so far. With 1 gold medal at amateur level. My record is 9-2 so far in tournaments while Andres record is 835 wins and 279 by @megajotts10

After a long time of trying to meet this legend, it finally happened. He’s on hits like “Beamer Benz Or Bentley” by Lloyd Banks, @lloydbanks “There’s Nothing” by Sean Kingston, aka @seankingston , “Ain’t got nothin’” by Lil Wayne aka @liltunechi and “Run It” by Chris Brown. Then adding a hit of his own here with this great song I grew up loving and still love. Called “Back to the Crib” by him, featuring @chrisbrownofficial .

@thejuelzsantana thank you for doing this free meet and greet. I’ve wanted to meet you for a long time and kept coming up empty when I tried the first few times in NY. But consistency and determination pay off!!! I’m so glad this worked as planned. Was also cool to see he did a free concert after this nearby. That’s what I consider someone making a positive impact on the community. Even if it’s not in NY. I hope people see this and understand that kindness and looking out for others is important. Whether it’s a free meet and greet to meet fans like myself that have wanted to meet the artist for a long time or the free concert to add the vibes to the people who could use that extra lift. There’s more to life then just making money. I’m thankful I never said no to fan photos and autographs. Because making money may be something we need, but showing kindness and love through the powers we have earned over the years to those who look up to us is priceless. Finally got my haircut. Finally had time for it.
Before that I had to get a signed pic from my NFL buddy @willhoward right before this. This was after the video post from earlier as well of Will and I where he said to check me out. (Peep that if you haven’t already).

Was great meeting everyone I met there as well. And seeing familiar faces like drew.shelton7 for the first time since he made it to the NFL, @riq.lewis who used to play with them at D West and plays pickleball like me now, Wills sister @tori.howardd who’s been supportive of me and my music over the years, his mom @maureenhoward118 who i’d only seen in IG posts before today, and said she’s heard of me, and his GF. Along with many parents of the kids at his free camp today. Always love meeting new people and spreading the good vibes/ getting more people to listen to great music with great meaning. by @megajotts10

So proud of my buddy @willhoward . He’s my friend that made it to the @nfl for the @steelers who’s also been supporting my music since before we even met. Back when his whole school and the surrounding schools knew me for my music success. He also won the college national championship for Ohio State aka @ohiostatefb as the Quarterback. It’s so cool to have him in the NFL, Chaz who I grew up with in the @mlb winning the World Series a few years ago & Mikal winning the NBA championship for the Knicks this season and 2 at Nova. Gotta support your friends in this life God has blessed us with!!! When I first walked over to him I couldn’t help but to smile as big as I can. Then he did as well when he saw me. I said “remember me?” He said “yeah, of course! J-Ott$. How are you doing?” Haha love Will!

Incase anyone aside from @natekobain also thought my pic with @jalenbrunson1 last night looked fake, here’s the non edited version. And here’s the Magazine cover he co starred on the front of as well. This photo came out great too thankfully. Now Jalen is a 2 time college champion with Mikal at Nova, I think 2016 and 2017 or so. And now also an @nba champ as well! Along with winning the Finals MVP! They now call him “The King Of New York”. He’s one of the only supper stars you’ll ever see shoot 3 airballs and a straight up brick off the far side of the back board and still drop 30-45 points in a game on any given night 😂 plus start for the all star team and be seen as the face of the league by the end of the season.

I’ll always remember our first time meeting when he had that basketball in his left hand. Saw following me and my music would be a distraction to his goals, stayed laser focused, won 2 College championships at a school that doesn’t really happen at, then made it to the NBA like his dad did after being told he was too short and all that. Beat the odds, like I did on my ep album called that, then he reconnected with Josh Hart and Mikal on the Knicks, the same arena they played a lot of their big college games at, in the worlds most famous arena they call it. And now won the chip with them at the top level. Along with starting as an all star on the all star team. It’s incredible what you can achieve with the right focus and people around you.
