I do not find fossilized crocodile teeth very often; so I was excited to find this one a few weeks ago. You never know what you are going to find when you go out on a hunt.

Heartbreaker. I looked for hours trying to get lucky and find the other half of this Meg. You can tell by the preservation it just recently came out of the matrix. I have never found a match yet, but I’ll keep searching!

I am loving the colors on this Hemipristis shark tooth I found last month. I do not find many fossilized shark teeth with this unique enamel color. Looks like one you would find in a creek. I have been striking out on megalodon shark teeth, but these hemis have been making the day!

Hemipristis shark teeth are one of my absolute favorites to find while out hunting. The shape and serrations and just amazing. I do not find many with this level of preservation as they are brittle and break easily once they are out of the matrix. Once they get tossed and turned in the surf and sand they loose their luster and often break apart. Happy to have saved this one!

A huge shout out to CPT Chris and Brett on @wb_diving for one of the most amazing days on the water I have ever had. I was lucky enough to catch this massive lobster on my first drop and the day was just getting started. I scored my personal best hogfish on the very next dive.
If you ever get a chance to go out with these professionals; take it!

It was a tough mini-lobstering season this year, but it was an amazing time with family and friends. Pretty cool that my cousin was able to capture this photo before we slipped through in the water and started hunting.

Day one of mini lobster season is in the books. We did well, but this is the most difficult time we have ever had finding lobsters down in the Keys. We spent almost the entire day covering miles and miles of area that normally produce quality results. My guess is the green algae that is everywhere is starving the small ledges of oxygen. The bottom is completely covered this year. We hope to find some cleaner water tomorrow for day 2!
