The best thing about motorcycles is that they brought me to you. ♥️ by @megankaptein

Hi friends, it’s my birthday and I’m here to make a small request! But first, a bit of context:

A couple of months ago, two of my beloved family members were in a serious motorcycle accident caused by a careless driver. My cousin was critically injured and rushed to the ICU with extensive injuries. He needed 7 units of blood to stay alive.

To put that in perspective, that’s about 3.5 litres (0.9 gallons), roughly half of the average adult’s total blood volume. That’s also the equivalent of seven full blood donations.

I sincerely wish I could personally thank every single person who donated the blood that sustained my cousin’s life. Because of you, Kurt is still with us.

So here’s my birthday wish:
If you’re able, please consider donating blood. I already have everything I need in life. And more importantly, I have everyBODY I love, thanks to the generosity of strangers.

Your donation could be the reason someone else gets to say the same. 🤍 by @megankaptein

I never thought that a British ginger would make me feel nostalgic about India, but Ed Sheeran’s new “Sapphire” music video does just that!

@teddysphotos beautifully captures the diversity and vibrancy of India and inspired me to make my own little montage from my trips there.

Are you interested in seeing more India content? Let me know!

Hello world, pardon the radio silence. It’s been nearly 9 months since I took a break from social media to focus on my health.

Last year was incredibly tough after being involved in a car crash. My body, mind, and nervous system were deeply impacted by the accident, so I took a step back to prioritize my healing.

My recovery became nearly a second full-time job. I had more than 100 medical appointments last year—doctors, injections, RMT, physio, EMDR—anything and everything to manage my pain, rebuild my strength and regain a sense of safety in my body.

Over the weekend, I got back on my bike for the first time in a long while! I went on an awesome ride and small hike with my amazing crew in the Cascades in WA.

Riding isn’t the same as it used to be with chronic pain and anxiety as ongoing challenges, but I felt the joy of riding again, which was really exciting and gave me hope that my body and mind will continue to heal and regain a sense of normalcy again.

My return to riding and social media will be measured and limited as my health remains my priority, but I wanted to share this little victory and encourage anyone else who’s struggling to keep carrying on!

PS: I used my Honda CB500X, not the SCL500 in this photo. I didn’t take any great photos because we were too busy enjoying the ride!

I’m excited to finally share my content from my 2022 trip to Colombia with @aneesh.mov

Colombia is one of the most biodiverse places on earth—a true adventure rider’s paradise with its mountains, jungles, volcanoes, waterfalls, and charming towns.

But it wasn’t all smooth riding. This was one of the most challenging trips I’ve ever done, and capturing it all on film was a whole other journey!

It’s finally here!! On this Labour Day weekend, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my biggest labour of love.

🇨🇴 After slowly chipping away on this project for more than two years, my Colombia series is now scheduled on my YouTube channel!

The first episode of “Echoes of the Andes” premieres on Sunday, September 8 at 8 am PST and subsequent episodes will go live at the same time weekly until the final episode on November 3.

I’m also excited to announce that the compilation of the series is available for rent as a full-length film for those who want to enjoy the story uninterrupted by ads.

I’m so proud of this guy. He’s far too humble to share his accomplishments, so I’m doing it on his behalf.

@fortnine just hit 2 million subscribers on YouTube! I’ve been following F9 since their early days (anyone else remember Canadian Motorcycle?) when Ryan was just starting out.

The quality of the channel took a significant leap forward when they brought @aneesh.mov on board—and the world took notice.

Years later, FortNine offers the most outstanding motorcycle content on YouTube, and Aneesh is undoubtedly a driving force behind that success.

His relentless commitment to quality, authentic storytelling, and originality positions him among the most prolific creators in the automotive content space.

He’s truly one of the most talented filmmakers, brilliant thinkers, and hardest workers I’ve ever met. FortNine is incredibly lucky to have him (as am I), and he’s so deserving of all the success and recognition.

Aneesh is currently in Italy, shooting at World @ducati Week, and I hope he’ll be sufficiently embarrassed by this post when he wakes up in the morning.

PS - You can check out his work at findaneesh.com
