Philippines 🇵🇭

Finally getting around to sharing our Philippines trip 🌴 SO many people have asked about this trip, so I thought I’d write down what we did and where we stayed!

London → Manila → El Nido → Coron → Manila

El Nido 🌺

Stayed: @frendzelnido

Visited: Marimegmeg Beach and Nacpan Beach.

Activity: Boat Tour to Bacuit Bay, Big Lagoon, Shimizu Island and Secret Lagoon

Restaurants: @verde.elnido some of the best vegan food EVER & Trattoria

Next Travel: Took the ferry from El Nido to Coron, around 5–6 hours.

Paolyn Houseboats 🛶 @paolynhouseboats

Transfer: Once we arrived in Coron, Paolyn arranged our transfer from hotel to port, port to houseboats, via shuttle an private speedboat.

Stayed: Paolyn Houseboats, floating accommodation around Coron Island, surrounded by limestone cliffs and the clearest water.

Activities: Kayaking, Snorkelling, Eating, Drinking 😋

Visited: Twin Lagoons and Skeleton Ship Wreck

Next Travel: Speedboat back to Coron Town

Coron 🤿

Stayed: The Ridge & Vienna Hotel

Activities: Two days and four dives with @reggaedivecenter to finish my PADI Open Water certification, explored three WWII shipwrecks: Lusong Gunboat, Teru Kaze Maru and Morazan Maru.

Visited: Manguinit Hot Springs & Boat Tour to Malcapuya Island, Ditaytayan Island &Coco Beach

Other: We also spent a day riding around Coron feeding as many of the island’s stray dogs as we could 🥺🐕 We only found out about @coronanimalsavers when it was too late to fit in volunteering, but managed to drop off a load of food and medication.

If you ever go, PLEASE give them a day or two of your trip. ❤️

7 pasties🥟, 3 blissful sea swims 🌊, 8 Cornish pints 🍺, 1 jam & cream scone🍓, 2 serious blisters 🥾, 2 emergancy ice creams🍦, 6 huel meals 🥣 and 70k of wild coastal hiking & camping later ⛺️… we completed our hike from St Ives to Newquay in 3 days :)!
