A memo to Golden’s business owners 💛 I appreciate you xo Most of the businesses I use and support are led and owned by women. In just the last week, I got my coffee at @ethos, my shampoo at @reflections_hair_studio , red light therapy at @thriiveco , a few spin class at @corepotential.golden that my butt is still recovering from, did Nikki’s Shape Ups @shapeupwithnicki , got my nails done at @luminescencebeautyspa , and shopped @bonafide.golden for my live event outfit so I can look and feel like a rock star. And when it was time to build our home, we hired a local builder too. This town is important to me. And it’s not about one little thing or ra ra.., it’s a movement. When I support you, I know you’ll support the others - it keeps our dreams going and growing 👏 That’s how we keep the money flowing right here in Golden, so here’s my role even though I don’t have a store front - I help in a different more digital way. People are asking ChatGPT for “the best “gym/ Airbnb/ realtor/ salon/ clothing store in Golden,” and I want the answer to be you. All of you 👀 ✨ Found Locally: Get Your Business Found on ChatGPT + AI

let me explain it the only way that makes sense to me.
with butter….because yes I’ve been making my own butter lately 🤣 you can churn butter by hand….
people did it for hundreds of years.
it works. it’s honest work….and it takes forever.
or you can pour the cream into your kitchenaid mixer
turn it on, and walk away…go for a walk, go read a book…go to your kids hockey game…
the butter isn’t less yours because the mixer did the churning you still made it you just used a tool to make life a little easier. the kitchenaid didn’t replace you….
it just gave you you time back…. and while it was churning my butter for the week -
i was outside playing volleyball with my son 🧒 son that’s how i think about AI. it can do the churning.
the first drafts. the reformatting. the sorting….the findings the carousel posts….the database set up, check up on emails…
the same caption rewritten five ways….for the new few weeks
the repetitive work that eats our evenings….(I see you!) it can’t decide what matters because humans matter. Connection matters.
it doesn’t know your clients, your values, your voice,
or why you started this business in the first place.
you still bring all of that. It def doesn’t know if you’re tired or your clients are tired… so no, you don’t have to be afraid it’ll make you less you.
you’re still the one making the butter xo 😘 I promise.
you just don’t have to stand at the counter for three hours anymore. that’s why i love teaching this.
not so women can make more butter - this is not about do more we do enough!! So we can be more IN and less ON
so they can be outside when it’s done. 🤍 Thoughts??? by @meganmoore_marketing
Pour the wine and grab the tissues. I’m getting emotional writing this so bear with me 🥹 1,500 posts. probably 10,000 chats. so many houses captured. so many life changes….so so many… its weird to put this here. its weird to even say out loud. but six years deserves a celebration. When we started my son was 5 🥲— here we are. heres the thing…..as an agency you don’t just work for your clients…you work with their lifeline… you dont just work with them. you experience their moments. youre there for the wins. youre there for the deals that fall apart at 9 and the voice note that comes after. the rebrands. the birthdays. the haircuts. The good moments and the sad ones the weeks that were really really hard that nobody ever posted about. you film 100+ houses in a mask in the middle of a pandemic because the work doesnt stop just because the world does….lonely right? and somewhere in all of that the line between client and friend just... disappears. i honestly dont know when it happened. it just did…. Dione — thank you. for trusting me with your story for six years. for every “quick strategy chat” that turned into three hours of talking about absolutely everything except strategy. for being the best client and somehow an even better friend. i love you. And this was a hard one 😗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Debbie and Sherry Jen..Kara — thank you for making it a team. and to every single agent ive worked alongside before thank you for your patience, your ideas, and for letting me be part of it all. im walking away with more experience than i could have ever planned for. a million lessons im taking with me. and an opportunity you just dont get handed twice. i loved it. all of it. even the chaos sometimes . 🤍 cheers to the future and to new chapters 🥂 by @meganmoore_marketing
we thought delegating would give us our time back.
instead, we filled it with more…more to dos, one more meeting…one more thing… we got the support so we could be with them.
they still got the half-listening version of us. that’s not a failure.
it’s what happens when you’ve been ON so long you forget how to just be…. the time was never the hard part being home in it is 🖤 by @meganmoore_marketing
I want to be less ON and more IN. 🫶🏼 Call me old school, but I want more time cooking. Cleaning. In the garden. I want more time for my family…and less time hoping a stranger will double tap my post. I appreciate being IN my life more than ON 🙏🏼 I’m focused on being Connected to the people right in front of me. Phone in the other room. I just spent a few days at The Gathering in Banff with 2,000 brand leaders and that’s my takeaway - get off the phone….be present and market that way. I know everyone will have a different takeaway…but mine was im on the right path with slower living…. This is why I’m passionate about intentional consuming and intentional marketing…. It’s why I moved to the mountains and left the city. It’s why my kids don’t have access to socials. Get back to the dinner table, The after school pick up. The 4 hour monopoly board game days 👌 It’s why I will always tell you to use your human instead of the latest greatest trend. It’s why I want to teach more people the new tools - so you can get your time back to be IN your life instead of ON 🫶🏼 @mandybalak by @meganmoore_marketing
On November 6 in Golden I’m showing you how to set up your Marketing Agent - so you can focus more on what you love and less about “did anything get posted this week?” Message me if you’d like full details of our event xo by @meganmoore_marketing
Last week, on my kids’ school trip to the prettiest place, mountains everywhere and a beautiful river with the salmon running through it, I brought up AI. And I could feel it. The tension. The “what do I say?” Because the truth is, it’s here. It’s right in front of us. And it isn’t all great. But marketing is changing. My industry is shifting, and it’s not shifting slowly. It’s changing every single day. I’ve been quiet on here for a while. But after years of hosting live workshops and travelling to teach marketing, I’m genuinely excited to teach business owners how to set up their own marketing agent, so they can spend more time at their own kids’ events. 📍 A live afternoon in Golden, BC 🗓 Friday, November 6 · 12pm to 4:30pm Here’s what YOU get: ✔️ Your own marketing agent, set up live, on your laptop, in your brand ✔️ Posts, emails, Facebook ads and Google Business Profile, all working together ✔️ Real posts done before you leave ✔️ A free seat for your team member ✔️ My promise: if you leave without it set up, we’ll finish it together on a follow-up call Early bird is $207 + GST until October 12. Then it goes up to $397. DM me “TIME BACK” or tap the link in my bio. xo by @meganmoore_marketing
Be honest... If I gave you 30 days to make your first $1,000 online, what would you sell? A service? A digital product? A membership? Something completely different? Drop your idea below. 👇 (Even if it’s just an idea right now.) by @meganmoore_marketing
