There’s a huge hole in my heart without you. My dad fought a long, hard, 2-year battle with cancer and on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, he finally got to rest peacefully.I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories of my dad that I will hold close for the rest of my life. My dad was truly one-of-a-kind. If you got to know him, you’re so lucky because life was always brighter, shinier, and happier with him around. I feel robbed of so many more years I wanted to spend with you, it’s not fair. But I’m glad i got 28 of them. My dad always encouraged me to be myself, whoever that was, and implored me to pave my own way in this world. He supported me no matter what. No dream was too big, no idea was unachievable in his eyes. I’ll never find all the right words to express how devastated, yet comforted, I am now that you’re gone. And I’m so grateful you waited for me to get back home to see you one last time. I love you to the dark side of the moon and back 10000 times. we had to say goodbye to our sweet 17-year-old Kitty girl yesterday. my heart hurts. she was the worlds greatest cat. so incredibly friendly, cuddly, happy. i’m so happy she was in my life for the last 10 years. the star of every party, the center of attention, the one everyone loved (sorry norman), the tiniest cat with the loudest meow. thank you for turning me into a cat person. i wish you could have lived forever. rest easy my sweet, sweet girl, i love you so much 😇 by @meganmoran_
