The Aspens remind me that change isn’t always a loss. Maybe it’s surrender.

As the days grow shorter and the seasons shift, the Aspens let go of their green and become a vibrant yellow. They release what they carried through the summer and trust the season that comes next.

Maybe God is doing something similar in me, in my family.

There have been seasons of growth and flourishing. But I think we are in a season where The Lord is asking us to let go and release the life we are gripping to and instead surrender to what He is doing. This surrender makes room for what comes next.

The Aspens don’t fight the changing season. They simply respond to it.

We are learning to do the same. In our marriage and deepest desires. We trust God in the changing and surrender fully. We are choosing to believe that even when life looks different than we thought it would, He is still faithful. 💛 taken in Kenosha Pass by @meganryan27

This is THIRTY TWO! Such a sweet Birthday!

Selah’s first baseball game was opening day for the Houston Astros and she loved it! She also convinced her Daddy to wear a Houston Astros shirt instead of a CO Rockies shirt! ⚾️ taken in Houston Astros Baseball Club by @meganryan27

I am unbelievably thankful to The Lord for the life I get to live with my husband and the life that I get to grow in my body.

The grace of Jesus is so clear to me in this season as I see gifts surrounding me that I did nothing to deserve and yet I get to enjoy.

Our Sweet Little Pumpkin is on the way! 🎃

Jack Griffith and I are beyond grateful for the tribe of people and support that we have for this next chapter. The Lord has given us BEYOND what we could have dreamed of or imagined in this life and we already love our little Baby so much. Can’t wait to meet Baby Griffith February 2025!

Special shout out to Karen Wells Ready, Rebecca Brown, Mona Marie Ready, Andy Jacobs Sellers, Kaylen Krebs, Sabrina Bandy, Callie Cole Robinson, Jenna Marie McKeehan and Jamie Griffith that put this BEUTIFUL shower together. It was so lovely and I felt so loved.🧡🧡🧡 by @meganryan27

From being a cute guy I swiped right on Bumble, to my Boyfriend, my Fiancé, then Husband, I’m excited to announce he’s officially my BABY DADDY!

And of course, Jag is excited to share that his parents are getting him a human!

Baby Griffith will be on the scene February 2025 and we couldn’t be more grateful! We are in the days that, at one time, lived as just mere prayer requests in my journals and I am LOVING them. Each day plays out before me as a reminder of The Lords Faithfulness. 🤍 by @meganryan27

Finally getting around to posting our family pictures. Love these photos that capture the joy that @jackgriff21 and Jag bring into my life.

I remember in year 10 of singleness thinking through the reality that The Lord may not have marriage in the books for me. I was okay with this reality, I knew that Jesus loved me deeply and He knew what was best. Turns out He did know what was best. But His best wasn't singleness, it was Jack. Jack truly is the best partner in life, partner in ministry, partner in laughs and partner in the hard that I could have ever asked for or imagined.🩵

It’s Christmas Eve AND exactly 2 weeks from our Wedding!

• See, there is a part of me that does NOT recommend having a wedding right after the Holidays. The Holidays are already a busy season and having your wedding a week into the New Year can double down the busyness in the month of December.

• However, there is another part of me that is extremely THANKFUL for the overlap of the Christmas season and the ending of Engagement season.

• There was a point in early December where Jack and I had something every night for 15 days straight. For anyone, this is a lot. For an introvert like me, it’s too much. But, between youth group, work, Christmas parties, meeting with wedding vendors, bachelor parties, etc., it was just our reality.

• During this I was spending time with Jesus and had a very clear picture come to mind. I was in the kitchen and the water on the stove was boiling over. It didn’t matter that I had turned the stove off or that I was grabbing towels to clean up the mess…The water was already, and continuously, boiling over. I wasn’t able to be intentional with the Holiday season, with family, with friends, with the end of my engagement season.

• In the moment Jesus reminded me of the Christmas season. He set me free to just let the water boil over because he is Emmanuel. The God who is WITH us. Since then Jack and I have not gotten less busy. However, we really haven’t had a “stressful” season either. We have given and created a little more space and grace to just let the season be messy. We reset expectations with each other, with family, with friends, with the holiday season itself and with ourselves.

• We can create space for the crazy and let it be what it is because the “WITH-NESS” of God is always. He is Emmanuel. The God with us on the mountain tops, in the valleys, in the crazy, in the fun, in the darkness, in the chaos, in the unknown. For the rest of our lives, in every day of marriage that we will have on this side of Heaven, the good and the bad, Jesus will be with us. ♥️
