Crossed off my 7th 14er today ✅

Colorado, in just five days, you’ve shown me so much. Not only have you shown me how much love + support I’ll always have when I come home, but you’ve also shown me the absolute evil that lurks behind the person I let sleep in my bed the last three months.

The reason I thought this trip needed to happen completely spun me for a 180 and gave me the real reason why this trip needed to happen, and for that, I’m thankful. The mountains will always heal me.

CALAMINE🥹🤍😭 where do I even start.

My first foster dog and you’ve changed my entire life in just one week. I’ve never connected with a dog as fast as I have with you. You have such a special and pure heart and the most loving eyes that stare at me with so much safety. I’m so glad I was able to pull you from the shelter and give you the love you deserve before finding your forever home. I’ve seen you grow and change so much in just one week and I can’t wait to see how week two goes before dropping you off with your new dad🥹

Thank you to literally everyone who reposted, reshared, commented, anything, on the reel I made for her; it’s how her adopter, Darin, was able to find her!🙏🏼😭 I was determined to never have her go back to the shelter, and in just ONE WEEK, we were able to find her a forever home. Incredible.

I love you, Calamine. Thank you for changing my world. I can’t wait to visit you and dog sit you when your dad goes out of town 🤍

Meet Calamine!

A sweet, 4-year old, 44 LB bundle of absolute JOY. Playful, medium energy, fully potty trained, great with dogs, and doesn’t seem to give AF about cats whatsoever. Sweet girl is heartworm positive and will need some extra down time while being treated for that. She is the ultimate velcro dog and just wants to be wherever you are. She is special and such a lover.

I’m already in love with her and I know she’ll make someone very happy someday🥹😭 until then she’ll be resting and playing at the Saber household.
