The Vampire Lestat is out today! Thanks to @danielmwenda and his fantastic score๐Ÿค˜ I got to teach Sam Reid a crash course on playing the violin and help get a hand double on set for the hard passages. My favorite moment is when Sam realizes how hard the instrument then burst into belly laugh at how BAD he sounded. "Wowwww I now have a new appreciation of how hard the instrument is." The musiciansโ€™ experience and familiarity with Rudolphโ€™s creative vision and concepts allows for a kind of focus and freedom in the shaping of the orchestral concept. A few weeks has passed since my โ€œsearchingโ€ album release party and I want to voice appreciation to my community for bringing this event into fruition! ๐Ÿ€โœจ My longtime collaborator @neelamjitmusic brought the tabla magic while @dimitrismahlis sang beautiful songs from his Greek roots along with gorgeous Oud, bouzouki, and guitar ๐ŸŽธ. @snigdha.music enchanted the audience with her sweet voice, singing a brand new arrangement of an ancient devotional song from India ๐ŸŒŸ @dereksteincello , @chriswoodsviolin , and @meganshung layed down the soothing strings ๐ŸŽป What a lucky guy I am to have such stellar musicians play my songs !!! Big thank you to @wearericeandshine for the tastiest treats and thanks @thanhsight_photography for these lovely photos! Thanks to @catseokyung for helping organizing , @thebokehmonster for video ๐ŸŽฅ, and @abstractdepressionism for running sound ! Finally thanks to everyone for coming out and donating to @chirla_org ! We raised more than 1k to help the fight for immigrant rights! โœŠ by @meganshung
