We had the most surreal experience on the water yesterday, towards the end of our dive this female great white made a special appearance. One of my wildest dreams came true, words cannot describe how lucky I am to come face to face with this apex predator let alone get a shot of her. Special thanks to @tannerunderwater @cooperlost @danny_mako for bringing me on and allowing all these insane encounters to happen🦈 by @megcowley3

the most misunderstood animal on the planet…it’s easy to support conservation efforts towards dolphins, whales, turtles etc because they’re cute and didn’t evolve with razor sharp teeth, but mainly because you’re not afraid of them. channel that fear into respect for a predator that’s been evolving for over 400 million years. at some point in time we all learned what apex predators are and why they are so vitally important for a healthy ecosystem. apply that knowledge to why you should care about saving sharks. they are apex predators. their roles are critical in maintaining a healthy ocean. without them we are f*cking cooked. and they need protection from their biggest threat which is unfortunately us. 100 million sharks killed per year is unfathomable and we simply need to be better humans. come dive with us @deepblueecotours and see these beauties with your own eyes 👀 #savesharks #tigershark #sharkdiving #oahuhawaii by @megcowley3
