The barbie’s are on display on the 3rd floor of the bloomingdales located on third ave.
this dress and jacket are made of 100% cotton that had to be hand fused so it would be stiff enough to work with my design. definitely go check it out in person because these photos do not do it justice! #bloomingdales150 taken in Bloomingdales by @megg.like.egg

happy to announce that i came in second place in the @madaluxe_group x @fitnyc upcylcing contest !!!

i was one of eight finalists in this competition and i had the opportunity to upcycle old @gucci shoes, bags, and clothes into a bodice, skirt, jacket, and accessories! i had so much fun and learned so much from this project. everyone did so well and i’m so proud of everyone !!! taken in Fashion Institute of Technology by @megg.like.egg

part of my senior thesis “oddities” is featured in FITs Gift of Making exhibit right now!! it includes two of my hand woven fabrics and four of my digital prints, all inspired by diaphonized wet specimens and cross sections of flowers. it’s in the windows of 27th and 7th ave go check it out alongside the AAS fashion design capstones now until jan 11!! taken in Fashion Institute of Technology by @megg.like.egg

making my engineered printed dress i designed in uni!
-an engineered print is when a print looks seamless throughout the garment— so you have to design out the pattern pieces to make sure when they are sewn together the pattern isn’t broken
-this took a lot of work and i did it for fun bc one of the places we visited offered to print our designs after the semester was over! unfortunately in my excitement (and my rushing) i flipped a couple pieces instead of rotating them so it’s not a true engineered print but the seams that are are soooo cool and i love how the dress came out ! #seamlesspattern #digitalprinting #patternmaking by @megg.like.egg

i’m started to work on my birthday dress for this year and realized i forgot to share the one i made last year !! the theme was aurora borealis so i wanted flowy sparkles and pink! my fave part is the “wings” neck piece i made. swipe thru for some sketches and WIP pics !! by @megg.like.egg

MY DESIGNS ARE FOR SALE!! i was doing my usual doom scroll and to my surprise i see my design come up in an ad!! i was flipping thru and i thought it was so pretty and i did something similar at work and was like omg i DID DO THAT AT WORK!!

my work from my internship @cynthiarowley is out right now !!! i drew out all these pills for this pj set last year and it’s so amazing to see it in production !! i had so much fun w the team and im so glad they were my first step in the industry <3 by @megg.like.egg
