The difference a PT can make. Accountability & Progress 💪🏼

Same tank. Same leggings. Taken 2 years apart to the day, today.

To preemptively answer possibly the #1 question on a person’s weight loss journey, how much have I lost? I’ll never know the answer to that one because I stopped weighing myself at the start of 2024. I do know I would’ve been at my heaviest last year, because that tank sat on the shelf for a good year because it had gotten uncomfortably tight.

Questioned my life choices this morning 🥴 Do I regret following through on the challenge (the waking up bit and upping the treadmill challenge bit)? No. Nope nope. Felt good to finish on the other side of it, though 🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏼 I would have regretted still being in bed at this hour knowing I COULD have gotten up and doing it today. I’m not aiming to do this every day. Just enough to challenge myself and stay consistent long term ❤️

Firsts are always somewhat nerve wracking, right?? 🫣 My little key fob let me in and I managed to find my way up to hang out with my mate, Treadmill. Didn’t die. Didn’t fall off. Success 🤣🙌🏼 Stronger. Leaner. Words above the entry as a solid reminder of fitness goals I can hang my hat on 💜💪🏼 Feel like a bit of a perpetual fitness restarter, but I guess the main thing is that I keep dipping my toes back in 🫶🏼 xx

Happy Second Skin Off Day to me!!!!!!! 🥳 The “After After” being post tattoo balm application 🙌🏼

An even cleaner look to come as the skin heals further and settles even more, but I’m so stoked to be able to unwrap my beautiful whimsical pieces, created by the most talented tattoo apprentice around, @a_u_r.a 🥰🎨💪🏼

I’m often asked, why travel to Sydney for tattoos when we have artists here in Tassie? Firstly, I’m so happy for our Tassie natives to support our local artists, we do have some good artists here as well!! For me, I came across @markdtattoo and loved the vibe that came through their videos. I tend to overthink things and I decided this wasn’t going to be a time I did that.

Markd Tattoo are exactly as they come across in their social media. Authentic, funny, genuine, taking their art and client experiences seriously, wanting to put the best pieces out there that they can. Sitting on the table for hours and seeing them interact, they are genuinely one of the most supportive work families I have come across.

@ray_ink_inc and Cam are creating something pretty special and attracting a tribe of very talented artists, all of their apprentices being no exception!!!! 🙌🏼

Five months on and I’m still loving my first tattoo created by the master of the tiny needle, MJ @247.k 🫶🏼 Have been wearing sleeves for the majority of our Tassie winter, so it still feels new!!!

Centred around my two best girls that have both changed my life in their own individual ways, with a floral wrap around. So grateful to have this piece, to have them with me forever.

The videos at the end don’t to one bit of justice to it at all, but I figured the girls deserved a spot on my roll before more was added to it 😉

@markdtattoo You guys are amazing and just make it too dang hard to pick an artist.. so many good ones to choose from 🤣 Looking forward to the next one sooooonn!!!!! 🙌🏼 xx by @meghandayasmith

Two weeks back into this running caper and already I was starting to think, "Whyyyy?......" 🙈 Have been a bit tired the last few days and sometimes the hardest part really is going out the door. But I've put on my shoes anyway, and then I find my why: when I finish and I've pushed through the yucky parts of running, there's that satisfied feeling; and when it feels good it feels really good. Grateful for my running buddy to so this with, she's doing great 😊xx by @meghandayasmith
