Gorgeous night of fashion, music and poetry with @dvf and @deepakchopra in support of @zarifnyc helping to keep alive the rich culture of Afghanistan. The art of Zarif is something truly special. My deepest thank you for your beautiful hearts and for asking me to perform. Was an unforgettable night!

We’re golden! 🏆✨ @sabrinacarpenter #eyeswideopen

This one’s for every Afghan girl who’s ever been denied her dreams.

Every step we take as Afghans, whether at home or abroad, is a win for us all. May we continue to break barriers and show the world the beauty, resilience, and creativity of our culture.

I dream of a world where every human on this planet has the opportunity to become who they were born to be.

No matter your circumstances, please don’t ever give up your dreams…

Finishing the album and catching the last rays of summer out on the farm🌞🌻

With love from Nashville,

This album has taken everything I’ve got to come to life. Music isn’t some hobby or job…I bleed for my art. It’s the air that I breathe. It’s taken my whole life to say, I’m more me than I’ve ever been and every inch of this body of work has my fingerprints on it from the songwriting to the production to the instrumentation, the design, creative direction etc. It was important that this captured me without other energies diluting that. Am in the final stretch (no date to announce just yet!) but I finally see the lights of home in the distance. See you there x by @meghankabir
