This is the part I love most.

Finding the hotel you didn’t know existed.
The experience you wouldn’t have thought to search for.
The neighborhood you almost skipped.
The tiny detail that somehow becomes the thing you talk about for YEARS.

Because I don’t think the best trips come from checking off somebody else’s “must-see” list.

They come from figuring out what would make you say:

Okayyyyyy…THAT is exactly what I want to do. 😍

That’s what I mean by Beyond the Obvious.

And that’s exactly where I like to plan. ✈️

I DON'T NEED TO FIND MYSELF. BUT I WOULDN'T MIND GETTING A LITTLE LOST IN JAPAN 🇯🇵😂

Especially if it means wandering through bamboo forests, stumbling across ancient temples, and finding some tiny restaurant where I order by pointing at pictures.

Kyoto feels like the kind of place where the best moments aren't even on the itinerary.

The random side street. The hidden garden. The little shop you almost walked past.

Matsuo Bashō wrote, “Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.”

And sometimes that's the whole point. Just slowing down and enjoying where you are.

Although I'd still have 47 places saved on Google Maps and be trying to squeeze in ONE more stop before dinner 😂

I'M NOT SAYING I'D ABANDON MY ENTIRE LIFE FOR A PRETTY LITTLE ITALIAN COASTAL TOWN, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE VISA REQUIREMENTS ARE 🇮🇹😂

Because what do you mean I have to go home?

Have you SEEN Positano?!

Colorful little buildings stacked on cliffs, water so blue it looks edited, winding streets, and restaurants where I fully intend to spend three hours eating pasta and minding my damn business.

John Steinbeck said, “Positano bites deep.”

Sir, I believe you.

Because I already know I'd be sitting on some terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, halfway through my second Aperol spritz, Googling how long I can legally stay in Italy.

And don't even ask me what time we're leaving for dinner. We're on Italian time now. Whatever that means 😂

Some places make you want to visit.

Others make you wonder if you really need to come back home at all 🩷✈️

Imagine waking up at sunrise, looking out your window, and seeing THAT 🎈

Hundreds of hot air balloons floating over valleys filled with ancient cave dwellings and rock formations that look like they belong on another planet.

And you're just standing there, coffee in hand, wondering how the hell this is a real place.

That's Cappadocia, Turkey.

And sure, you can admire it on your phone. Save the videos. Add it to another Pinterest board.

But imagine actually being there.

Because some places deserve to be more than a pretty picture you scroll past 🩷

How many more destinations are you going to save to your Pinterest board? How many more Reels are you going to send to the group chat with “we HAVE to go here someday”?

Because I want you to be the person who's actually THERE.

Watching the sunset somewhere you can't pronounce. Wandering down some random little street, slightly lost, with the best thing you've ever eaten in your hand.

Standing there grinning like an idiot because you've seen this place in pictures a million times, and now YOU'RE the one taking the pictures.

I want that for you.

Not just once. A whole bunch of times.

Because there is entirely too much beautiful shit in this world for you to spend your life watching everybody else experience it 🩷✈️

You don't need a travel advisor. But do you really want to spend your Saturday doing all the damn work yourself? 😏

Yes, you can book your own trip. I'm not questioning your ability to use a website 😂

I'm questioning why you're comparing 37 resorts and decoding reviews when you could hand it all to someone who actually LOVES doing it.

Already know your hotel or cruise? PERFECT. I may be able to find preferred rates, resort credits, upgrades, or perks you'd otherwise miss.

And here's what most people don't realize...

On many commissionable bookings, travel advisor compensation is already built into the price. Booking direct doesn't automatically make it cheaper. Booking through me means some of that money supports a small business, AND you have a real person in your corner.

Am I promising a lower price every time? Nope. Sometimes the rate is the same. Sometimes there are extra perks. And sometimes the biggest savings are the HOURS you get back.

Plus, many bookings don't require an additional planning fee. If one applies, you'll know upfront.

I'm not here because you CAN'T plan your own vacation.

I'm here because you shouldn't HAVE to do everything yourself.

So tell me, what's the ONE part of vacation planning you'd happily hand over to somebody else 👀

IF YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT HOW MUCH I SPEND ON VACATION, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY STAY HOME AND WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN MONEY 💅🏽

Once I leave the country, my money operates under an entirely different set of laws. Dinner doesn't count because I had to eat anyway. Drinks are hydration. And that oceanfront room upgrade? An investment in my mental health. Obviously.

And don't start with exchange rates. If I exchange $100 and get 1,800 pesos, I just turned 100 into 1,800. Sounds like a great ROI to me. Don't ruin this with facts.

Besides, that money was already set aside for vacation. As far as I'm concerned, it was gone before I even packed my suitcase. Anything I bring home is technically a profit.

This is why I research resorts, compare room categories and stalk flight prices for weeks. I'm not being obsessive. I'm just making sure I get the most out of the money I've already decided doesn't count.

I don't need a financial advisor. I need a passport, a poolside cocktail and friends who understand that VACATION MONEY IS MONOPOLY MONEY WITH BETTER SCENERY 😂

If your idea of hell is spending an entire vacation moving between a beach chair, a buffet and a swim-up bar...

Hi. I found your island. 😂

Because Dominica is out here being absolutely ridiculous.

There’s a boiling lake in the middle of the rainforest. The ocean is literally bubbling from volcanic gases. You can hike to waterfalls that look fake. And sperm whales are just...living there.

Meanwhile, half of us are still booking the same five Caribbean islands because those are the ones we know. 😂

And listen, I love a good beach chair. I can sit my ass down with the best of them.

But sometimes I want to come home from vacation with stories besides what I drank and what time I went to dinner.

Dominica is for that trip.

You came all this way. You might as well see some shit. ✈️

Apparently my newest employee is a tripod that follows me around the room 😂

No benefits. No PTO. Doesn't talk back. And somehow manages to keep me in frame.

So far, excellent hire 😂
