🕷️ Is it spooky season yet? 🐍

I recently had the pleasure of designing the paperback cover of Rainforest for the wonderful @michelle.paver, and I’m excited to now share the cover!

We wanted to lean heavily into the dark, gothic and supernatural thriller themes, whilst also referencing the luscious Mexican rainforest setting. I’m really thrilled with how this turned out, and especially pleased with stumbling across the most perfect snake image during my research! by @megillustrates

Happy (day late!) pub day to Last Night I Dreamt and @paul_de_zulueta_

Paul de Zulueta, Daphne du Maurier’s grandson, brilliantly draws on private family archives, interviews and his own memories of his grandmother, to give us an extraordinary look into the world of Daphne du Maurier.

I was so pleased we were able to use this fantastic photo by Tom Blau, licensed by camerapress.
To see Daphne and her family, striding along with Menabilly in the background, really encapsulates everything we were looking for with this cover.

Designing this one was a real treat, and I’m so pleased with the shiny gold, finished copies!

🩷 Very excited to share my design for Legally Blonde, the 25th anniversary edition! 🩷

It’s very rare that you get to design something where absolutely everything can be pink! 💖 Modernising the cover for this one was such a treat, and I enjoyed channeling my inner Elle Woods to get there… what, like it’s hard? 💅👩🏼‍⚖️ by @megillustrates

@orbitbooks_uk and @orbitbooks_us shared the cover for As We Fall Through Time yesterday, so sharing my design here too!

@clairenorth_author ‘s book is an extraordinary and epic tale of time travel, betrayal and a love that echoes through the centuries.

I loved reading this book, and you will too! ✨ by @megillustrates

I had lots of fun illustrating all the plants, mushrooms and sparkles for this one, plus, it’s even more sparkly in real life! ✨

Happy publication day to @yvvetteedwards and her fabulous novel, Good Good Loving! ✨

A book full of big personalities, big mistakes, burning love and quiet heartbreak.

I was lucky enough to use artwork from @mickalenethomas for the cover and I’m so pleased with how it all came together.

Cover design for How Korean Corn Dogs Changed My Life by @aliceameliac 🇰🇷 ✨

This was such a fun brief to work on. I commissioned the talented @qianhui_yuu from @pocko, who did an amazing job illustrating lots of the authors photos and brining this cover to life. Have a zoom in on the beautifully illustrated food if you want to feel hungry 🤤

I was very excited to have the opportunity to illustrate and work on Barbara Pym’s ‘Excellent Women’ for The Hatchards Library.

Hatchards Library features a gorgeous range of limited edition reissues, all with some kind of gold foil illustration on front and back, accompanied by William Morris endpapers. ‘Excellent Women’ is the eighteenth volume, and the first virago title!

Design for Cello, written by @drkatekennedy 🎼

I designed the hardback cover for Cello a while ago now, and was delighted when @hoz.art decided to use one of my earlier (favourite) ideas for the paperback.
