🎁 7 things I learned this year:

1. confidence starts with keeping your own promises to yourself
2. life will give you the same lessons until you break the pattern
3. you are never too much for the right people, stay authentic
4. how your calendar looks should reflect what you value
5. ignore criticism from those you wouldn't trade places with
6. be friendly and kind to all, but selective with true access
7. being misunderstood is the price of being visible - let it be

bonus 8. the cost of failure, judgement, or rejection is WELL worth the prize of living without regrets :)

is it possible to protect your heart without hardening it?

these boundaries can take years and tears to learn, but the answer is YES :)

here's how:
- stay open and curious, assume the best intention
- let *evidence* lead, not your own projection
- when lines are crossed, that's when you distance / leave
- you don't need an explanation. you don't feel good is reason enough

don't close yourself off from people and experiences, but DON'T overstay either. you have to let go of what's not working to make room for what might.

I'm cheering for you 🫶 welcome to my page! by @megkuang

okay byeeee <3 by @megkuang

a year ago, I booked a one-way ticket to move across the country.

I didn't feel ready, I just stopped waiting to. I had some goals to chase. I'm not fully where I want to be yet, but I'm far from where I used to be. partway up the mountain is better than never having taken the first step :')

if you're "fine on paper" but quietly want more for yourself, sorry to break it to you, but you have to just jump into the deep end and learn how to swim.

(and maybe drown a bit lol it's part of the process)

the time will pass anyway. you have to trust yourself enough to know you'll make it work, and it will. it's not a matter of IF you'll get there, it's a matter of WHEN!!

if you're all about not letting your potential go to waste, welcome to my page :) by @megkuang

it's always easier to complain and play victim than to ask yourself: "what choices led me here?"

complaining is the easy way out of taking ownership. taking ownership is the first step to changing your situation.

if you're unhappy where you are or "just getting by," DO SOMETHING about it.

look in the mirror and stand UP. I'm rooting for you :)
