POV: You’ve never stepped in front of a camera before, but here you are laughing, twirling, enjoying the views, snuggling with your significant other and feeling like - “hey this isn’t so difficult after all!”.⁣
⁣
That’s what it’s like working with me—zero awkward poses, no pressure to be “perfect,” just you being you while I capture the magic (and me being a total goofball and hype woman when you need the extra encouragement of course!).
⁣
So if you’ve been putting off photos because you’re “not photogenic” or feel like you don’t know what to do, I’m here to change your mind. Because here’s the secret: It’s not about perfect poses—it’s about me getting to know you, the vision of your dream photos and creating a fun, unforgettable experience that turns into memories you’ll treasure forever. Plus, who doesn’t want cool engagement photos you can brag about and show off to the world 😎
⁣
Drop a “☀️” if this sunrise session is your vibe or tag someone you’d wake up early for! ⁣

I think it’s time I show my face more! If you’re new or an OG follower, I’m so happy you’re here! 🤘🏼
⁣
My name is Meg, I’m an intuitive artist who is profoundly inspired by photographing families and people in love! It’s crazy to think I’ve had my business now for 7 years and in the photography industry for more than a decade! ⁣
⁣
A few fun Meg facts - I love my personality, I’m a neurospicy extroverted introvert and an enneagram 4w5. My sun is in Cancer, a Pisces Moon and a rising Scorpio, I know bless my heart lol. No but really if I’m not near a body of water I feel like I can’t breath! Out of all the states I’ve lived in, CA has stolen my heart. I married my best friend and adopted 3 beautiful furry children. I may not have human kids but I am an Auntie to many! I love anything and everything pickled and yes French fries are my favorite food I won’t be ashamed to admit even though I can be a bit of a health freak sometimes. I love to make people smile and feel so comfortable they can let their true authentic self shine. I believe in standing up for human rights, taking care of our planet, women supporting women and always putting mental health first. I have a giant sensitive heart that sometimes has gotten me into trouble but I’ve come a long way learning how to care for others while also protecting my own energy. I also tend to ramble, as you can see… thanks ADHD!⁣
⁣
If you’re looking for a photographer who feels like a familiar friend, someone who will be there every step of the way throughout your photographic journey to ensure you feel comfortable and enjoying the process of bringing your vision to life… I’m your girl! Not only is it important to me that you walk away with stunning photos, but a special experience that makes your images feel even more warm and fuzzy when you look through them 🫶🏼⁣

I’m embarrassed to admit… ⁣
⁣
I still have so many sessions I haven’t shared over the past few years. My reason? All because I loved the entire gallery and would get so overwhelmed trying to select just a few to share and ended up procrastinating and not sharing at all. ⁣
⁣
Ugh, ADHD artist problems 🙃 ⁣
⁣
Today that embarrassment ends as I continue to sprinkle in some older work on here because I’m still so proud of these beautiful moments of such beautiful people who deserve to be all over my feed! ⁣
⁣
With all that to say… this is your sign to hire me as your wedding photographer, book your engagement session at your favorite winery and get tipsy with your lover 🥂⁣

Hope everyone has had an amazing summer! As much as I love being in the mountains without any service, I’m excited to get back to catching up and sharing all the amazing work I’ve been up to.⁣

My heart!! I just love when I get inquiries that want to incorporate a surprise proposal into their session! We planned every little detail with so much precision, finding the perfect spot, the perfect time at sunset and of course the perfect excuse to take pictures in this gorgeous rose garden! It was such a special evening, so happy for this precious fam! ⁣

The sweetest announcement of baby boy on the way! We were all giggles running around in this gorgeous field with their pup. Did you know that I have a special rate Milestone Collection package that includes announcement, maternity and newborn sessions? It’s the perfect way to capture all the important moments in the beginning with baby that go by so quickly! ⁣

Lately, I’ve been drawn to locations that can be really fun for the kiddos; and who doesn’t like splashing around in the water on a warm summer day?! I’ve known the Holland Family since the very start of my photography business so this was a very special session before they moved away. I was so sad to see them go but thankful to have known them all these years and capture so many beautiful moments together ♥️⁣

This was such a special session, the type where you immediately connect upon meeting and feel like you’ve been friends for ages. These two traveled out of state to celebrate their anniversary west coast style so we planned to make the evening extra special. When we arrived the marine layer and wind tried to take us out but with high spirits we embraced the drama of the weather. Halfway through our time together, all of sudden the sun broke through the fog giving us the most incredible sunset… man was it so worth it!⁣
⁣
Another reminder why I love this job so much and the incredible moments I get to share with such beautiful souls 🤍⁣

I realized today that I still have so many weddings to share! Even though I take on a select number of weddings per year, I have learned so much the past decade! Some of my favorite weddings have been the small intimate celebrations with little pockets of moments to step away, soak in the day together and allowing the newly married couple to be fully present with their family and friends. ⁣
⁣
Kyra and Henry is such a great example, saying their vows cliffside surrounded by their loved ones. We planned their ceremony right before sunset so we could have the most romantic golden hour setting for their portraits along the beach while they soaked in all the giddy feels that they were finally married! Afterwards we met up at a favorite local restaurant that had a private section for their reception that felt so intimate yet so lively! Such a special evening with these two! ⁣
