Some dances you perform. Some dances you feel. 🤍

“In Case” was one of those dances.

Our Junior Small Group poured everything they had into this piece, and watching them tell this story on stage was something we’ll never forget.

National Champions 🏆 @onpointdancecompetition

The emotion. The connection. The heart these girls brought to every single moment.

Beautifully choreographed by Ms. Meghan @megryan_16 🤍

Here it is in full, for your viewing pleasure.

This one will always be special.

Some dances win titles.

Some dances leave a mark on your heart.

“In Case” did both.

After earning their place in Ultimate Victory as the 2nd place contender at @onpointdancecompetition, our Junior Small Group stepped on stage one final time and delivered a performance that earned the National Championship title.

This piece reminds us to tell the people who have loved, guided, and shaped our lives just how much they mean to us while we still have the chance.

Watching these young dancers bring that message to life with such breathtaking emotion, grace, and maturity was nothing short of extraordinary. Their ability to connect so deeply to a story far beyond their years is a testament to the artists they are becoming. Every movement was intentional. Every expression was genuine. They didn’t just dance the choreography. They made us feel every moment.

And then there’s Ms. Meghan (@megryan_16 )... a true master at telling stories through movement and pulling on our heartstrings. Her choreography challenges these dancers to go far beyond the steps, teaching them to connect, to feel, and to share something meaningful with every audience.

To our dancers, thank you for trusting the story and pouring your hearts into every performance. We couldn’t be more proud.

Congratulations to our National Champion Junior Small Group, “In Case”.❤️🏆

Ultimate Victory Champions✨

We are absolutely over the moon proud of our contemporary piece “Leave the Light On”, choreographed by the incredible @megryan_16 . This powerful number has had an outstanding season—placing 1st at multiple competitions—and this week at @onpointdancecompetition Nationals, it reached new heights.

Not only did this piece win 1st place in the Ultimate Victory Finals for Junior Small Groups… it was named the highest scoring routine in the entire 12 & under division, making it the Ultimate Victory Champion of the 12 & under category!

Congratulations to Lola, Kate, Olivia, Eleanor, and Piper—you poured your hearts into every moment on that stage. And to Miss Meghan, for creating something so meaningful and unforgettable.

Here’s what she had to say:

“I am so proud of them and their hard work and determination this season. I want to thank them for bringing my vision to life. I love you 5 girls. Thank you for telling this story and bringing awareness to this issue. Always remember there is a light in the darkness—however sometimes it may be harder to find than others.”

This was Dancespace’s very first time at Nationals, and we are truly astounded by what our dancers accomplished. Your passion, discipline, and artistry lit up the stage—this is a victory we will never forget.

Let’s hear it for “Leave the Light On”- a performance that moved hearts and made history. 💡💛

To say Nick was just a ray of sunshine isn’t true he was the entire sun that knew how to light up every room he walked in with a smile always on his face. This was an amazing young man that was taken too soon. He loved his dance girlfriends and when the Bisesi Family came into our lives they instantly became our second family. My hurts for the entire Bisesi family as they navigate this difficult time. Until we meet again. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️ by @megryan_16
