This marching season went by extremely fast. I am so glad that I got to be with these people for one more season. This is going to get a little sappy so don’t read if you don’t want to. However, drumline members please read.
Dylan and Nilda, you both pushed us this year. You guys taught Luis how to play snare in just a few months and pushed him to improve every day. Your leadership has inspired me so much and I am so glad to call you both friends. Dylan I can’t wait to see where life takes you, and Nilda, you are going to do great things, just believe in yourself.
Bass line , I wouldn’t have chosen a different bass line for my junior and senior year. Clifford you have grown so much and I am extremely proud of you.Nick and Noah, you guys never fail to make me laugh even when I’m having a really bad day. Lily, you are the bestest friend I could have asked for and I am so excited to see where life takes us.
Luis, I am so very proud of you, and I admire the work and dedication you put into the line this year. You really are a ball of sunshine and thank you for always saying hi to me. And to answer your question no, I don’t hate you.
Immer, I cannot believe that you and I got this close this year. You are literally my favorite person in the line and I am so glad to say that you are one of my best friends. You have listened to me talk about countless things and never complain. You’re my little brother, and thank you for sharing music and Kloe with me.
To the band and color guard, thank you for all of the memories you’ve given me these past few years. I am so glad and honored that you allowed me to be your chaplain this marching season, and I am so proud of each and every one of you.
To the people who said I couldn’t do percussion, I did it.
Noah West, your memory and promises I made to you are what kept me in band. I am so happy that I had you in my life, and I miss you every day, even if I don’t talk about it. I hope you’re proud of me, and oh Noah, I’m chaplain and it was the best time.
Finally, thank you Jesus for saving my life in 10th grade. I owe it all to you, and I know that you are proud of me.
