México y su cultura son los dueños de mi corazón. Mi amor por el mundo del agave & Dasylirion solo sigue creciendo con cada día.
Hay tantas personas que se merecen estar en esta lista, así que el ser votada por mis compañeros por lo que me apasiona es un verdadero honor.

With the end of September, we have ended our month with Agave Convallis, Maguey Jabalí.

For those of you not in the know of our terpenes experiment, right now @mateoleg @karlafiesco.pony & myself @salondeagave imbibe with one species of agave (or dasylirion) each month to research into how each different species could affect us personally.

Agave Convallis is an interesting agave, it is known to be a difficult species. It has an extremely low yield & foams up during fermentation and distillation, making it hard to work with. This was Mateo & my second month with this species in our experiment and we made sure not to tell Karla anything.
It definitely showed up the same as last time for us. It is a fun agave, we all found it to be very relaxing and sociable. Didn’t give any of us any sensation of being “boozy” just made us more social & want to stay out. When you think you are ready to leave, this agave whispers in your ear “but maybe just one more”?
Perfect for those gossip nights with a good group of pals.

Late posting again, my bad…
We have finished our month of August with Agave Americana and are well into our new month…
With some new news, our experiment team has changed up a little again and we have excitedly welcomed @karlafiesco.pony into our little crew.

For those of you not in the know of our terpenes experiment, right now @mateoleg @karlafiesco.pony & myself @salondeagave imbibe with one species of agave (or dasylirion) each month to research into how each different species could affect us personally.

A perfect agave for a nice night out with pals. It’s a nice light energy, everyone vibes with Agave Americana. A weird note that was made in the month was that it felt like drinking a non-agave spirit to us. We like to say that we always feel more present with agave spirits and we don’t feel the same kind of effects as other types of alcohol. Where this month it gave us a regular tipsy sort of sensation.
And lastly, we all had weird, but not bad, super vivid dreams.

July has well and truly ended (the late posting is my fault). So that means its time for our review of Dasylirion Wheeleri

For those of you not in the know of our terpenes experiment, right now @aranzacabe, @mateoleg & myself @salondeagave imbibe with one species of agave (or dasylirion) each month to research into how each different species could affect us personally.

“¡Quiero Volar!”

We were all in 100% agreement with our feelings this month. Energy was the first word used by all. We all had fun & energetic nights with Dasylirion Wheerleri, and then experienced vivid dreams. Not bad, just vivid and then woke up again in the morning with energy still. No problem going to the gym straight from waking up.
We also noticed that we felt a little responsible in where our nights took us and making sure we paced ourselves.

June has ended as so has our month with a new micro-endemic species Agave Wocomahi, Maguey Sierreño

For those of you not in the know of our terpenes experiment, right now @aranzacabe, @mateoleg & myself @salondeagave imbibe with one species of agave (or dasylirion) each month to research into how each different species could affect us personally.

This agave favours staying around your closest friends. Intimate conversations, living room settings, candlelight & chilled out vibes with your nearest and dearest.
For us, we felt that it was not the agave for going out to new places or in big groups. But more stying with people who you are already familiar with.
Gave a high sensation relatable to marijuana at times.
