✨ Long COVID survivor sharing healing, hope & confidence. Clean beauty, wellness & a touch of Southern grace. 💖

POSTS STORIES REELS

A little Long COVID health update today. 🤍

I had a good follow-up with my sleep doctor, and overall, things are moving in the right direction—which I’m incredibly thankful for.

My CPAP readings are looking great, and I’m averaging around 6 hours a night now! That may not sound huge to everyone, but I started out barely tolerating 4 hours because of anxiety, so this feels like real progress. 🙌🏻 I’m still using my oxygen threaded into my CPAP at night, and for now, everything looks good with that setup.

We also talked about a few things I can keep working on:

✨ Adding magnesium glycinate about 3 hours before bedtime to help my brain slow down and relax at night.

✨ Continuing CBT for anxiety and sleep management. Brain journaling has actually been helping me a lot, so I’m definitely going to keep doing that.

✨ Using my chin strap more consistently at night along with my CPAP.

We also discussed the possibility that I could need an NIV someday if my diaphragm becomes weaker or “lazy” because of the lung damage left behind from COVID. Thankfully, she doesn’t think I’m anywhere near needing that right now. It’s simply something we can keep in our back pocket down the road if my lung function or sleep breathing isn’t improving the way we want.

And the best news? I don’t have to see her again for an entire year. 🙌🏻

For someone who has spent years feeling like there is always another appointment, another test, another problem to manage… hearing “come back in a year” feels pretty amazing.

Long COVID management is still very much about making small adjustments, paying attention to what my body needs, and celebrating progress that might look small from the outside.

Six hours on my CPAP.
Better anxiety management.
Finding tools that help my brain settle.
Stable nighttime oxygen support.

I’ll take those wins. 🤍 One little step at a time.

Life feels a little heavy right now, y’all. 🤍 The chilly weather, the days getting dark earlier, and that feeling of isolation have me in my feels.

But GOD! 🙌🏻 He is always there. He is always good—even on the days when my heart feels weary.

I can be thankful and still struggle. I can have faith and still need a good cry. I don’t have to pretend I’m okay for Him to meet me right where I am. ❤️

If you’re feeling a little heavy too, you’re not alone. Sending you love as we take this season one day, one prayer, and one little bit of grace at a time. 🫶🏻

Well wishes for November, y’all! 🍂🤎

As we enter this month of thankfulness and gratitude, may we pause to appreciate what we have, trust God with what’s to come, and find peace in what we cannot yet see. 🙏🏻

We may not know everything this next season will hold, but we know Who holds us. Even in the waiting, there are blessings to notice and little moments to treasure.

My prayer for November is a grateful heart, eyes to see God’s goodness in the everyday, and faith to leave tomorrow in His hands. 🧡

What’s one thing you’re thankful for as we begin this new month? 🍁

October, you were full of the sweetest little moments! 🍂🧡

Cozy nights with a bowl of soup, picking apples at the orchard, decorating our home for fall, and a new Infuse flavor to sip on! ☕️🍎

Add in corn maze adventures with my family, trick-or-treating through the neighborhood, and plenty of sweet treats to finish the month… my heart is full! 🎃🍬

Nothing fancy—just making memories with my people and finding joy in the little things. Those are always my favorite moments. 🫶🏻
