Happy 45th Birthday, @paddlinpirate!Thanks for driving me crazy (and driving me to school in middle school). Thanks for living near mom & dad so I don’t have to feel guilty about being 7 hours away. Thanks (or no thanks) for always getting me in trouble by antagonizing me knowing I’d loudly react and be the one that mom & dad heard. Thanks for letting me use your SiriusXM to listen to college football games from time to time. (I mean I do pay for a good chunk of it with your birthday and Christmas gift cards every year. 😂😂😂)Thanks for always going on the rides with me even when you knew they’d make you sick too. by @megz_mn

Katie was a true warrior in life having faced many health battles including 3 heart transplants in her 37 years. She was feisty and always ready to have fun by letting loose at a country concert or having a girls day crafting. I’m forever thankful that she came into my life thanks to Trav & Megan and feel honored to have had so many amazing memories to cherish forever from pedal pubs, cabin weekend, random night out and in, and some of the best concerts. I’ll never begin to understand why she was handed the short stick in so many ways throughout her life - but I know that she lived her life in the best way - making sure to live up every single moment she could. Rest in Paradise, Katie. And give Heaven some hell from all of us and show off the sparkle that we all know you for. by @megz_mn
