Thank you God for a beautiful weekend with friendly faces (read FACES) and basically the first real hike of the year 🙌
It made me irrationally happy to see people out and about and even happier that when we went to order food from our favorite place they had a couple tables open for the first time!! Delicious date night ❤ by @megzela

Well we had an exciting weekend. Settling in to relax after kids are in bed and wham. Hubby's lamp bursts into flames. Thank goodness he is good in an emergency. While he got it contained and put out the fire, I could not find the extinguisher 🤦‍♀️ and just focused on getting the kids away from the smoke and out to where the alarm wasn't so loud. They were pretty shaken up, our oldest came out of his room just in time to see flames 😫
We all cuddled and slept on the pull out and spent lots of time outdoors playing today. We cleaned up most of the soot and *knock on wood* kids seemed calm and happy going back to their own rooms tonight ❤
Crazy night and busy day today but now settling in to look for some new lamps lol by @megzela
