Thank you to every single person involved in this production!!

It was an absolute blast!

From talking about the possibilities with the script, late night design sessions, ping pong character games, Step-Up dance warmups, the most number of practical lights & croissants in a show, the most wonderful rain system, incredible composition, and the most incredible design it was truly a joy to work with the most talented people ever!

An ephemeral time with lasting memories! ❤️

HOOYO is an Official Selection for @sydfilmfest and will be having its NSW premiere ahead of Memory Of Princess Mumbi by Damien Hauser on the 7th & 14th of June.

This film was only ever meant to be for me, a way to challenge myself and try something new. I told my team I hadn’t really thought about putting it out there, but they pushed me to do so. I’m glad I listened.

I am beyond elated to have HOOYO screening at SFF. To my incredible cast and crew: thank you for trusting a first-time writer/director. You are all so incredibly talented!!
