“Sometimes life is so hard you can only do the next thing. Whatever that is, just do the next thing. God will meet you there.” - Elizabeth Elliot

It’s hard to put to words how challenging the last few years have been. But if I could say it with a picture…..this would be it. I took this when we were building our house - struggling with chronic pain, daily headaches, so much uncertainty. I went up to check on progress and found a butterfly with a broken wing, desperately trying to get out. Constantly jumping and flapping its wings. I picked it up, and took it outside and set it on a leaf - thinking about how much I felt like that butterfly. Feeling completely stuck and broken. It’s hard to explain the weight of chronic pain. Don’t give up. Keep trying. Keep walking. Lean into God. There is beauty in brokenness. Thankful for those walking with me. #chronicpainawareness #chronicmigraine #dontgiveup #glimers by @mehlhoff.farm

We have been so blessed by incredible clients. In an industry where it is getting continually harder to source materials on time, keep to timelines and rely on subcontractors to do their job: having understanding and wonderful people to work for has been such a blessing.
