Sometimes things work out for the best. We were supposed to spend the night near the Indiana Dunes this summer, but it rained all weekend and we ended up cancelling our plans. Shortly after, I discovered the @indianalandmarks Century Homes of Progress tour was going on sale, and was able to snag a pair of the coveted tickets. Although owned by the National Park, these homes are leased to individuals who have painstakingly restored them, and tours of the interiors are rare. You couldn’t take photos in the homes with current tenants, but here are some exteriors. The weather was perfect too!

Tbh, I wasn’t excited about last weekend’s trip to NYC. Samm & I had been under the weather all week, and it seemed impossible to top our last NYC trip, but this city never disappoints! Seeing Judy Chicago’s iconic “The Dinner Party” @brooklynmuseum and Rocky Horror are memories I won’t soon forget! 🗽🍎🌃

Last night we went to @rockyhorrorbway and while we were waiting for the show to start, the production manager introduced himself and asked if it would be ok if a cast member brought me on stage at some point during the show. Given my social anxiety, this is something I would have politely declined in my 20’s or 30’s, but last night I said, “Sure, You only live once.” Long story short, I can now say that I danced on Broadway (and at Studio 54) because they brought me up during the Time Warp! 😆 It was a an amazing show & amazing experience! #RHPS #therockyhorrorshow #broadwaymusical taken in STUDIO 54 by @meirybomb
