A letter to my beautiful baby girl who turns 18 today 🥹🫶🏼😭

Sweet girl, I can hardly believe that it’s been 18 years since you entered my world with that beautiful smile, those tiny hands and toes, and those eyes that changed my heart forever. I knew in those first moments of holding you that I’d never love another human as much as I loved you. And that love for you has only grown, with every passing day, just as you’ve grown right before my eyes. I could not be more proud of the woman you have become, and I’ve always known that you were going to set this world on fire with your kindness, talent, beauty, love, and strength. You my dear, you move mountains to make everyone around you feel loved and seen, and I have been witness to the impact you have on every person you meet. Your laugh is infectious, and your soul is deep. You are everything I hope to be, and I learn so much from you every single day. Thank you for loving me no matter what, for being patient with me as your mom, for being my best friend, and for always being up to adventure with me! Being your mom is still the greatest gift I have ever been given, and I hope you know I’ll always, always, always be here for you. Even though you’re an adult now… I’ll still be here to wipe away your tears, laugh with you til we pee our pants, pick you up and hold you in life’s most challenging moments, and cheer you on as you pursue all your greatest dreams! Selfishly, I wish I could have kept you little for longer, stayed in some of these moments for even just seconds more… but my gosh I can’t wait to watch you soar angel baby! Happy 17th Birthdayyyyy to the LOML, my best friend, the angel from God who made me a mommy, my ride or die, the person who calls me on my crap but loves me unconditionally, my forever movie date and plus one to everything, who makes me snort laugh on the hardest days, who supports me in everything I do, who still lets me kiss her cheekers when I need to, who will cuddle up and watch shows with me for hours, who would hop a plane to literally anywhere with me and we’ll have the best time, who is always up for a 7/11 snack run in the middle of the night, who will silly dance with me at home but be so embarassed when I do it in public hahaha, who will eat Taco Bell a few times a week and not judge me for not cooking, and who makes every day brighter and worth living! I never knew it was possible to love a human this much… I would give my life for you in an instant, and I would do literally anything in the world to make you smile! I love you baby girl and I am so beyond proud of all you have accomplished this year! I’m going to miss you when you leave for college, more than I could ever express… but gosh I’m excited to see you SOAR!!!! Happy 19th bdayyy to this beautiful baby girl of mine!! You may be a year older and wiser now, and far wiser than even I am in so many ways. But you’ll forever be my baby bear! 🥹 Gosh this past year has been one of insane growth and major changes for us both. I mean… you released your first single for goodness sakes! Ahhh!! And I hate being on the other side of the world from you today! My heart aches to hug and celebrate you right now! 😭 But I just want you to know how much it meant to me to make these memories in Greece and Albania with you this summer… and how connected I feel you to you, no matter how far apart we are! You my girl, make me so proud, and the title I will forever hold most dear to my heart, is that of your mom. I tell you all the time… but you are the center of my universe and the center of my beating heart, and I still pinch myself that I get to do life with you as my best friend and daughter! No matter where life takes us and no matter the distance…you are with me, we are one, now and forever. Living my dream… with that grown woman glow! 😉✨ This August marks 26 years in this industry, with some breaks throughout, and I feel so blessed for every experience that has shaped me in to the woman I am today! The beauties of motherhood, alongside the challenges of life, love and loss that I have faced over the years… it all strengthened me for NOW! I have insecurities that I face head on every single day, and I am definitely a work in progress! But I wear my scars and imperfections with pride at this phase of life… because I now know that I can and will always survive whatever life throws at me 💪🏼 So whenever in doubt my loves, just remember, we got this!!! And you’re never alone!! 💗

God is so good 🥹 In awe of my life right now, and the people I’m blessed to share it with. I literally pinched myself today to see if this was actually real life! Living in Europe, smiling every day, pursuing something I love, meeting incredible humans, and have the most incredible daughter, family and friends a girl could ever ask for! I wish I could tell “younger me” to just be patient and remain strong, and that all the hard times will be worth it. My dearest angel baby… your first ever SINGLE is officially OUT NOW!!! 🥹😭 I cannot stop crying because I am just in complete awe of you! And words will never even begin to describe the pride and joy I feel right now!! From the moment you entered this world, I knew you were special. That you were bound to achieve incredible things. I couldn’t understand then, and still don’t understand now, how I am lucky enough to be your mom. You are beyond talented baby girl! So thankful to have a front row seat to these moments, and to be a part of your journey, the ups and downs and everything in between. Being there in the studio with you, watching you learn and grow as a singer, a writer, and ultimately an artist… was one of the highlights of my life. ♥️ I have always felt you were meant to do this, share your voice with the world, because even as a little girl you SHINED when you were singing. It was so much of the time your way of self expression, and music has always moved you. I know at times you weren’t sure if you wanted to keep trying to create music… especially while in school etc. But I am so proud of you for pushing through and prioritizing something you loved so much, and doing the work, even when there were setbacks. Because now… we have arrived at this very moment!! YOU did this!! Well and our dear friend and chosen family, the talented @carlosloslito … who stood by you and supported you always.
