This past year was a case study on fragility and stability, simultaneously experiencing some of the highest highs and lowest lows. Being in a blender can take its toll but I’m glad I made it out the ‘wash’.Less worrying and more self-actualization for my 23rd year. Tread lightly, but let’s not take life too seriously—it’s not like you’re gonna make it out alive anyways… by @mekhimarcelino

In October 2022, my car was hit and totaled by a drunk driver going 100+ MPH in an unprecedented accident that I miraculously came out of alive. I spent the ensuing months mentally damaged, carless, in physical pain, and attending multiple sessions of physical therapy a week in order to regain my strength. During that time, I spent countless hours absorbing, researching and redefining a direct point of immediate trauma for myself: automobile racing. Ironically—this experience patched up more scars than it created.This past Friday night, my first full collection as a member of the design team @rhude was showcased in Hollywood. It’s only my first song, but I’m extremely honored to have the opportunity to design for my favorite racing team in the world. High gratitude towards our amazing team and all those who have supported me up to this point. by @mekhimarcelino
