Here’s 10 things you didn’t know about me - let me know your favourite! These are all completely true 😝

1. I have an irrational love of cats 🐈 it’s not that I don’t like dogs, I’ve just never met one that you could have an intelligent conversation with!
2. My first love was a boy called Alex - when we had our first kiss, we clashed our teeth! (ouch) We dated all the way through high school, and then I left him to join the Army (that’s two things, but never mind).
3. I love a good cuppa - tea/coffee - I don’t mind, if it’s left unattended I’m drinking it!
4. I cannot see in the dark at all - I go dizzy and lean over! (they lied about those carrots)
5. I cannot climb a ladder - I go dizzy and the room spins! (can’t blame carrots for this one)
6. I collect gorgeous notebooks and sketchbooks, but I don’t use them - they’re just too pretty! (I don’t think I’m alone on this one)
7. I’m an empath - I feel people’s pain - but I would much prefer to share your wins! (that feels good)
8. I could eat Lindt Lindor chocolates every day and never get bored - but I’m diabetic so I don’t! - well I try not to anyway - and that’s what I tell my doctor!
9. I believe in ghosts - because I’ve seen them! (I’ve also heard my name called and get regular taps on the shoulder when I’m alone) - I’m OK with it now! (I’m fascinated by it) And I have loads of these stories to tell! - maybe another day.
10. I love writing (anything), lists, thoughts, lists, plans, lists, and I have great pen control - but I paint like a 5 year old 😝 maybe I’ll show you some time!

Drop me a comment and let me know something about you!

these blooms were painted on a one of the cheapest papers I could find lol. 😜 it was from Action and I was surprised how much I liked it.

Anyway,I adore painting and building patterns. Scanning and cleaning up the scans not so much😂

Who can relate?

It’s been awhile since I did a #dtiys challenge, but I just couldn’t resist this lovely challenge from @kawafi ✨ Congratulations on 50 k 🙌💪💛

Check out @kawafi s original art on slide 3 😍.

I really enjoyed exploring the theme, and the color scheme, of this cute cloud character!

Whenever I do a #drawthisinyourstylechallenge, I usually look very carefully at the original art, but then draw my version without checking in too much. So my character doesn’t have a neck and therefore I gave them earrings instead of a necklace. But they do wear a sort of fancy fluffy cloud hat.

And I love that they are giving the mountain some sort of neck massage. Now you know how earthquakes are made!

I included a bunch of photos from northen Spain, we really get all kinds of weather here and often many different weathers in a day, so lots of opportunities for clouds, rainbows and showers!

Swipe to see a time lapse drawing reel, some details and if you want to: let me know if you like the border, I had to add it because I didn’t respect the format of Instagram, sorry not sorry because I think it looks kinda cute..?!?

My favorite fruit! Or at least one of them.

We have a tree on our backyard that showers the lawn with sweet, yellow pears come August. I can see little fruitlets forming now, and added footage from last year…

What is your favorite fruit? Let me know in comments.

And, could you please tell me if you prefer the pair with or without the decorative borders?

This kid's jungle themed fabric and wallpaper collection was so fun to design. I used to love things with lots of imaginative, interesting details when I was little. Something you can lie and stare at as you fall asleep... dreaming of monkeys at the juice bar and huge jungle slides high up in the rainforest canopy. It's got everything I love... trees, birds, butterflies, flowers and a selection of treehouses.

To see the full collection drop me a DM or contact my agent @mel.amann.studio
