Well, today I'm grateful for a smart plug. Brad has an electric vehicle that he recently started plugging into the garage as he found that we have electricity going there. Late last night his car started beeping like it does when the charger is no longer getting power, so he went out to check it. After being gone far longer than I expected, Brad comes back to tell me that the smart plug is burnt and so is part of the outlet. Thankfully, the car is fine and so are the cords used to charge it.For those that don't know, our garage is more of a storage unit and a burnt plug/outlet could have lead to a MUCH different situation. God's protection for sure. I'm grateful it's an outlet we lost and need to replace rather than anything more substantial. by @mel.linerode

Here's most of our day at camp!Pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Mom got the camp stove to work!The boys played with friends they've made and I read some of my book. A trip for lunch, more wood, and more ice was made. Then we went to the lake! Gosh, it was gorgeous. I could have sat out there all day. Naturally, the boys ended up in the water 😅 and a crane landed right in front of me!Back to camp to start a dinner fire, which I got going in record time. An ice cream truck came by and we HAD to get some, then ate dinner. Both boys are now playing GaGa Ball with some other camp neighbors and we're doing s'mores after the sun sets. And then packing up 😭 because the boys have a flag football playoff game at 10am tomorrow back home.Regardless of the quick nature of this trip, I think I've successfully convinced both Matthew and Ezra to keep camping 😁💜 by @mel.linerode

Family Movie Night featuring...Wicked: For Good 💚🩷A much anticipated movie night by both Matthew and I. Both boys had a scrimmage for flag football this evening so we'll see who makes it through the whole movie. by @mel.linerode

Marvel Movie Night featuring...Guardians of the Galaxy!And Cane's for dinner because why not 😂Thought before we start:- Oliver has taken to mimick and/or reenact the fighting scenes, so this will be fun with Rocket involved- Matthew likes Groot, but he's not seen this movie yet. I'm interested to get his take on Groot after we're done. - Ezra always picks a different part of the movie to attach to so I guess we'll see what comes of that in a couple days by @mel.linerode

I wish somebody would have taught a much younger Mel how easy it is to style her natural hair. You're telling me I could have had this hair for YEARS?! Also, I am IN LOVE with the bangs. Tried growing them out for a hot minute only to realize how much I missed this look. Anywho, hair credit goes to @kristen_lee5 because she essentially taught me everything I know now 💜 by @mel.linerode

I am pretty proud of myself for getting this together and how it all turned out. Not bad for my first time 😅It was truly a joy to put this together for my sister and brother-in-law and have our first celebration for their little one. I love you guys 💜 by @mel.linerode
