Introducing Mister Freshman for the 2025-2026 academic school year….

Being Mister Freshman has already been an unforgettable honor. My journey toward this moment started back in April during Scholars Weekend — that’s when I knew I wanted to, and was going to, become the next Mister Freshman. Running unchallenged didn’t make me take this role lightly; it reminded me that leadership is about service, not competition. From day one, I promised to lead with purpose, grace, and authenticity — and I intend to keep that promise.

To my mother — thank you for always answering the call, for making sure I had everything I needed, and for being my biggest supporter every step of the way. Your love and sacrifice mean the world to me.

To Aj and Darla — the 48th and 90th Mister and Miss Fisk University — Your leadership, grace, and example have set a standard that continues to inspire me daily. Especially to Darla, who has been a role model to me long before I wore a sash. Learning and hearing about how you served from Miss Freshman to Miss Fisk has inspired me and showed me what true dedication looks like, and I see that same light guiding my own journey in my years to come at Fisk.

To the Class of 2029 — thank you for trusting me to represent you. We’re just getting started, and the best is yet to come. This moment represents more than a title — it’s a reflection of faith, perseverance, and community. I’m still becoming, but I’m becoming everything God said I would be. 💙💛
