For most of my life, if I couldn’t do something perfectly, I simply wouldn’t do it.Skincare routine. The gym. Showing up. All of it.Getting older (and becoming a mum) completely changed that for me. My hair has been through it. Bleach, chemical straightening, more bleach I did not treat it well in my 20s 😅 Starting my 30s off right with an actual routine: hydrating shampoo + conditioner, a leave-in treatment, and heat protectant every single time (non negotiable now). Can we talk about aging for a sec?I feel like I woke up one day and it just… showed up. The wrinkles. The greys. I know it’s normal, I know it’s meant to happen but there’s still a moment of “oh, that’s new.”I’m not here to fight it or pretend it’s not happening. I just want to work WITH it. Support my skin, feel good in it, age the way I want to age.If you’d told me a few years ago I’d be talking about this stuff online, I would NOT have believed you. But now I get it that feeling of “I still feel so young in here” while your reflection tells a different story.
