It’s hard to put into words the impact that UTC and the AIA community at Queens has had on my life and faith. I will be forever grateful for the community I’ve been blessed with at Queens, and for the one I gained this past week interning at UTC. The opportunity to return to UTC this year couldn’t have been more perfectly timed. I got to watch God work so evidently in my teammates and friends and I’m so excited to see how God continues to use them at Queens and on each of their teams. I’m so proud of my lax girls for saying “yes” and surrendering to Jesus. I was reminded of how powerful and intentional our God is. His timing and reasoning is perfect, whether or not we understand it. There’s no doubt in my mind that He intended me to be at UTC as I enter into a new stage of my life without the consistent community I’ve been blessed with through AIA. And, I got to be there as the lives of six of my teammates were transformed, just like mine was two years ago. Not only did I learn, grow, and trust this week, I had so much fun, made eternal friends, and felt filled with purpose. There’s nothing I would recommend more to a college athlete than getting connected to AIA and attending UTC, it’s truly a slice of heaven. There’s no greater blessing than doing life with and through Jesus, thank you @aia_clt and @theultimatetrainingcamp for giving me the tools, community, and space to surrender my everything to the Lord and make Jesus my greatest passion. His love and work on the cross is greater than any shame or unworthiness we feel and I’m so glad 300+ athletes tangibly experienced that truth this week. ❤️➗✝️❔ by @melaina_springer

Wow. What an insane week experiencing transformation through Jesus with new and old friends. I can’t even begin to describe how inspiring it was to catch a glimpse of Heaven @theultimatetrainingcamp. Getting through 20 of the toughest hours of my life was only made possible through prayer, singing, the encouragement and faith of my teammates, and the truth that I’m fighting a battle Jesus has already won. He gave me strength to do things I couldn’t have done otherwise, and I’m so grateful for the new relationships and knowledge I gained from this experience of a lifetime.
