counting degrees, collecting memories
0°C to −20°C in Europe’s winter wonderland 🤍🥶❄️ for our winter (ski⛷️/snowboard🏂) trip

📍🇨🇭 · 🇦🇹 · 🇮🇹 · 🇫🇷

entre erreurs et courage,
meine Sprachen ont appris à respirer,
le lingue hanno trovato casa 🤍

I’ll keep learning slowly, even on days I stumble,
letting imperfect words shape real connections.
And when I return, it won’t be to chase places,
but to remain, to stay long enough
for the language to soften, the fear to fade,
and this quiet, fragile feeling
to recognize me as home. ❄️💗✨

Dankeschön, Schweiz und Österreich.
Grazie mille, Italia.
Merci beaucoup, France.

Collecting each moment like personal postcards,
tucked gently into my heart,
until we meet again ❤️‍🔥🥶✨.

“Stop rotting in your bed, go outside” my parents said.

So I did.

Just didn’t tell them I’d be rotting in the Alps instead 🙈 ❄️🏔️

--

Still feels like a little winter dream🥹❄️🤍

If only visas weren’t a thing, I’d probably still be wandering through snowy peaks, cozy villages, and those quiet little moments that somehow became unforgettable.

Ich bin unendlich dankbar, sonooo grata, & je suis tellement reconnaissantee for every path, every laugh, every unexpected soul I met along the way.

From wandering alone to sharing these magical moments together with amazing souls I found😇

Perhaps I had to return home, but a piece of my heart is still somewhere between the mountains and the sky🥹✨❄️

Till we meet again, dear Alps🥶🏔️

FLABBERGASTED🫠💔

The northern lights had lived in my bucket list for years!! Never did I imagine I’d meet them during the recent winter trip near the Alps in Austria.

Yeah, the video is grainy, my hands were frozen, and I was bundled up like a little lost penguin in the middle of the night☃️❄️

Yet none of that mattered.

Because for a few minutes, I stood beneath a sky I ONCE thought existed only in my dreams.

Mit so einem Moment habe ich nicht gerechnet und vielleicht macht genau das ihn so besonderssss!!🥹💗

rich in life, for I witnessed the Northern Lights with my own eyes in Österreich (XIX.I.MMXXVI) 🇦🇹 ✨

a tropical soul, forever longing for winters she had never touched.

and somehow, beneath foreign skies and falling snow,
I found a piece of myself waiting quietly all these years. 🫠💗

cold cheeks, trembling legs, a heart impossibly full, as if the little girl inside me was whispering,
“we finally made it.”

till next time, Alpine Adventures!🥶✨

We came back for the market, and obviously stayed for the sunset!!🌅👀

Yes, we listened to the @labrisabali ’s call and returned! The LYD Sunday Market is a must-see for finding high-quality local products🤩 (though, yes it’s usually crowded, just go as early as possible!)

After stocking up, it was time to chill, stroll The Bohemian Driftwood Oasis, and catch that iconic Canggu beach club sunset while we’re here for a while. The perfect antidote to any local traffic!😮‍💨 See you next time, Canggu!👋🏻

Mountains painted in morning mist.
An infinity pool touching the horizon.
Romance nearby, calm all around.
Sidemen, you were a dream I didn’t want to wake from.

Si doux. Si beau.
Un coin de paradis <3
