If you haven’t read The Midnight Library, please do so. This book had me in all my emotions, but in a great way. I understood Nora feelings in ways I could never explain. And had plenty of Mrs Elms in my life during that dark moment.

Shout out to my friends that held me up when I was at my lowest. Thank you for sticking by my side and speaking life into me. I love you guys so much. 🩷

It’s crazy how time can change everything. 2 years ago on my birthday I went through the worst thing ever. I won’t get into detail but what happened put me in a deep depression. I remember praying for every night for months for me not to wake up the next day. I remember thinking that nothing was going to get better, and the only way to deal with it was to longer be here. But thanks to my amazing friends they weren’t letting that happen.

Fast forward to 2 years later today. I went back to school, and graduating today a honor roll student, I might not be a Ivy League or a university but it’s still an accomplishment that I’m proud of. And to be graduating on my birthday is the proof I needed that I’m not done here.

Thank you God for not answering those prayers! Thank you to my friends that stuck by my side all 517 days of that emotional roller coaster I went through, because I TRULY mean it when I say I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for y’all.
