Today is National Hummingbird Day. I’m so grateful for these tiny jewels who chose my yard this summer. I love them more than I can even express and I’ll miss them terribly as they move on. The winter will be long! Thank you for slowing me down and filling my days with joy, it has been an honour to watch you visit every day. Safe travels, my little bébés. ❤️ All pics taken this morning on NHD in my backyard. #nationalhummingbirdday by @melanielouette

Our beautiful boy had a growth taken off his leg 2 weeks ago and it unfortunately came back as cancerous. You would never know anything was wrong with him and he’s just as chill and sweet and hungry as always. These are tough dogs and he’s been an absolute trooper wearing the dreaded cone for the past 2 weeks. We don’t know if it has spread, but we decided we won’t follow up with more treatment. For now, this good boy is getting lots of love and beef chews and living his best life. #my budwilliger ❤️ by @melanielouette

Sharing some ‘before’ pics of the trailer ( officially naming her Penny) before we start work on her this coming long weekend. My head is swirling with ideas but I’m simultaneously frozen about what to do first! Starting with paint and I’ll take it from there. Woohoo!

Our very late & cold spring has meant the flowering trees have lasted that much longer, and they’re all just so glorious. . #positivity #june #spring by @melanielouette
