There's something incredibly special about owning a little piece of a location with so much history and so many stories surrounding it. After investigating the Hinsdale House, having this piece of its history in my own collection makes it even more meaningful!

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE RAVENMOCKER PEARLBOUND HOUSEHOLD! 😂
So, a weird little thing just happened!
I heard something in Sara’s room, so naturally I went in to see if one of the cats had gotten in there. Nope. No cats.
I looked over at Abigail, and when I looked away for literally a SECOND, the beaded purse chain that was sitting on her lap fell to the floor! I turned just in time to see it fall.
And listen… beads have a VERY particular sound when they hit the floor. You know the sound! 😂 I just stood there for a second, said to myself, “Okay, great,” picked them up, moved them, and backed right out of that room. LMAOOOO!
Abigail really is the one object in our collection that seems to move more than any of the others. And I don't care HOW many times something like this happens, it still startles the absolute crap out of me! 🤣

From Tinker Cemetery to the family homestead and now right back to Maplewood… this family's history just keeps unfolding, and I am absolutely fascinated.
I'll be sharing both Grace's and Adelbert's obituaries so you can see the historical connection for yourselves.
This is one of the things I love most about what I do. The investigation doesn't end when the live does. Sometimes the research afterward is just as mind-blowing as the session itself!
Things really do come full circle. ❤️👻
